Whale watching from December 15th - March 31st! This day is designed for the traveler who desires the opportunity to combine the thrill of whale watching with a relaxing afternoon at our exclusive Las Caletas conservation resort.

As many as three different varieties of whales migrate to the warm waters of the Bay of Banderas during the winter months of November to April. The largest and most famous of these whales is the magnificent humpback whale.

Our morning is spent on an exciting voyage to capture a glimpse of these impressive creatures in their natural habitat. To see these awesome mammals swimming with their calves and soaring out of the ocean with eye-opening, majestic maneuvers is, without a doubt, a tremendous emotional experience

Our professional guides, trained in mammalian behavior and protection, will offer you a greater understanding of and insight into the underwater world of the whales.

Our afternoon is spent appreciating other wonders of nature, this time on land.

Las Caletas is our own exclusive coastal sanctuary. Here you will be able to discover the secrets of our jungle trail and orchid gardens, visit our deer and parrot havens, or, if you are still feeling adventurous, take to the sea to kayak or snorkel. Maybe you will simply want to retreat to a swaying hammock on one of our secluded patios, lie back, and soak up the stunning views of our golden beach and jungle-clad surroundings?

Only accessible by sea, Las Caletas is one of nature's miracles, just waiting to be discovered. This day offers an ideal way to take in the breathtaking wonders of nature on both land and sea.

Included is a wonderful buffet lunch and all national drinks. Also included is your snorkeling and kayaking equipment and guided tours at Las Caletas.
