A two-day whirlwind tour of Mexico's other capital.
Guadalajara is considered to be one of the finest examples of Spanish colonialism architecture; the churches, government buildings, parks, and squares are a testament to the grand style of life enjoyed here for centuries.

You'll see all of it on the Guadalajara city tour.
The first stop will be in a restaurant in Guyabitos for breakfast, then the bus will take you past the historical town of Compostela. Continuing towards Guadalajara, you will pass by the Ceboruco volcano. You will stop in the town of Tequila to sample the drink of Mexico and have lunch. Once in Guadalajara you will given a brief tour of the city, and then go to Hotel Cervantes. The afternoon is yours for shopping and exploring.
Your tour includes visits to the government palace, cathedral, and the Orozoc paintings. No visit to Guadalajara is complete without a trip to Tlaquepaque, home to beautiful pottery and other handicrafts, before heading back to Vallarta.
Tour departs Puerto Vallarta 8:00 a.m. Wednesday and returns you to your hotel on Thurday about 8:00 p.m., along with tour guides, maps and information brochure on Guadalajara.
Additional Information
Be sure to pack: clothes for an extra day, sleeping clothes, and anything you may need for an overnight trip. Be sure to bring extra money for meals and shopping, camera, and extra film, sunscreen, and/or hat.
