Do not miss this trip to San Blas. This tour is full of adventure including surprises for everyone.
The trip begins and ends at the meeting point in Puerto Vallarta Outback Restaurant and Nuevo Vallarta Los Almendros. You will board a comfortable van or bus, with air conditioning and head north, away from the city and the Bay.
The excellent bilingual guide will provide you with information about the city and its surroundings while you travel to Nayarit; along the way you will stop at various points of interest where you will have the opportunity to take photos.
The next stop is La Tovara, an natural ecosystem full of mangroves, birds, reptiles, crocodiles, fish, turtles, and more! From there you will travel along the canal in a small boat, stopping to see orchids, wildlife, and other interesting sites while the guide presents information about what you are seeing. During the trip through the ecosystem, you will stop to see a crocodile farm dedicating to preserving the species that lives in the San Blas area.
After a two hour eco-safari, you will visit historic San Blas, a city founded in the 16th century along the commercial route to the north by the Spanish.
Once you have explored the historic fort and church, you will get back on the bus and go to a marvelous ocean side restaurant, where you can select on of six entrees, including shrimp, fish, chicken fajitas, and includes Mexican style octopus. (octopus only in season).
You will have about 30 minutes at the beach, to sunbathe, take a walk looking for shells, or simply relax with a cold drink in the restaurant.
During the two hour return trip you can take a siesta, read, or talk with the friendly, well informed guide.
