Terrible service. We were seated on the roof, where we couldn't see our menus or our food. It was extremely cold because the heater at our table ran out of gas. we asked for shawls, which were never delivered. We were extremely disappoited because we had eaten there when it was Sr Chicos and we loved the food and the service.

I rated the food excellent but with a caveat. The portions are tiny but the prices are not. We had 7 in our group and not one compliant about the food but about the portion size and the price. The location of the Vista grill is up a mountain overlooking the city and the bay. Great place to see the sunset or even just a great view of the bay day or night. I will go back here again but next time maybe just for a drink and appetizer.

Vista Grill has always been a "destination" for us when we visit PV. However, recently we were disappointed. My husband and I were seated in the middle of a tour group of 30. It was extremely noisy and the staff could not keep up with the demand. Upon leaving we inquired if this was perhaps an isolated incident. The proud response was that they had served 6 groups that day. We hate to see this wonderful restaurant lose it's romantic charm.

One of the most perfect dinner we ever had , the service was outstanding.

We attended in January 2007 and were awestruck. Having lived in and visited P.V. over the last ten years we have tried all the 'high end' restaurants and have NEVER had an experience like this night.

The view is more spectacular than any of the other restaurants over-looking the city and the seating is not out on an open balcony in a hap-hazard setup. The tables are beautifully appointed with spectacular views.

One of the best wine lists we've seen was laid out in a very user-friendly manner with regional wines all set apart.

The actual menu was thorooughly confounding in it's variety. Everything looked so good it was difficult to choose. The four of us each ordered a different entree and shared the incredible tastes.

The service and the presentation of the appetizers, entrees, desserts was nothing short of 'world class'.

WE will tell all our friends they must treat themselves to Vista Grill as we will in every subsequent trip.

This place was great from the time we stepped in to the time we walked out. The service was great on a Thursday night. Beautiful spot to view the sunset. Food was great and the drinks were just right. When we get back to PV we will definitely stop back here.
