STAY AWAY---TIMESHARE PEOPLE WILL PREY ON YOU!Rated:![]() by Donna from Canada Written 8 months ago | When you visit Puerto Vallarta, you have to expect to be accosted by timeshare salespeople. But I absolutely draw the line when I am trying to enjoy a nice afternoon in a restaurant with friends, PAYING FOR MY OWN MEAL, only to be interrupted by a person posing as the hostess...who seems extremely friendly and talks non-stop for 1/2 an hour about family, etc. We are experienced at spotting timeshare, but were completely blindsided this time. When I complained, I received only a non-stop smirk from someone who could talk and talk. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT...THEY HAVE TIES TO A TIMESHARE CONDO AND USE THIS PLACE A FRONT FOR SALES.
If you are looking for a fantastic restaurant that has everything going for it...food, service and super great Mexican atmosphere, we highly recommend Cueto's at 469 Barsilia. We first discovered them 18 years ago, and they are even more fantastic than before. Enjoy. |
Was a favoriteRated:![]() by Mike from Canada Written 8 months ago | My wife and I have gone to Oscar's several times but this one was the last. Food was cold, not very much of it and the time share PUSH while sitting at our table having our drinks was not appreciated. Good location but not very busy on any night........thats gotta tell you something. |
Recommend but not my favoriteRated:![]() by Laura from USA Written 9 months ago | I have eaten at Oscar's twice. The atmosphere and proximity to the ocean are wonderful. I have always found the food to be mediocre. The menu is moderately priced. |
Oscar's for a special mealby Joanne from CanadaWritten 9 months ago | My husband and I had a Valentine's dinner at Oscar's. Their homemade breads and buns would have made a memorable meal, but the service, the location, the fabulous food and drinks, made it really special. Watching the sun go down on the ocean, listening to beautiful, live music.....it just doesn't get any better. We're looking forward to next year's Valentine's Day dinner at Oscar's. |
Oscars is greatby Irene from united statesWritten 1 year ago | Great food and service. The specialty flaming coffees are a real treat which become a very entertaining part of the meal. We go to Oscar's every time we are in Puerto Vallarta, usually more than once. |
Good RestaurantRated:![]() by Sergio from Mexico Written 1 year ago | I just went there a couple of days ago. The view is great, part river, part sea and the bridge.
The dood was really good, I ordered some Tamarindo Shrimp and sea Food Salad. To drink, a couple of martinis, my wife had a cosmopolitan and I had a coconut Martini, sweet and good.
The service was perfect
Music was not so good, but in all the place was great |
Must try this restaurant!Rated:![]() by Ken Montone from USA Written 1 year ago | This was our first stop each day to enjoy the sunset and Oscar's teriffic margaritas! The atmosphere is wonderful. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the food presentation was fabulous! The menu is varied with enough entrees to suit all kinds of palates. We have had many lunches and dinners here and it has always been consistent in the quality and preparation of the food. Don't miss it! |
