María Bonita

The restaurant is a little hard to find but well worth the effort. It's located on the patio level of the condos at Mismaloya, a cozy, charming little area overlooking the ocean. The people are very welcoming and the food is delicious.

We have been going to the Condos in Mismaloya for over 10 years now. Maria Bonita has great food and the Coconut shrimp is awesome. Prices are very reasonable and we plan on eating there again this winter.

My husband and I have visited la jolla de Mismaloya 2 previous times and on both occasions have dined numerous times here. The staff is awesome and the food is to die for. My husband always orders the maria bonita shrimp and I order the medallions of beef with puff pastry in a mushroom sauce....oh it makes my mouth water every time I think of it. Vacationing in a Condominium instead of an all inclusive resort, gives you the opportunity to experience true Mexican culture, and this restaurant certanly has that. We are going to return in December and will make this restaurant a must yet again.
