Simply lovely!Rated:![]() by Norma Bell from USA Written 4 months ago | What a wonderful place to have a good wine with good music and lovely people, the Chef, Louis Fitch is an old style gentleman and very handsome.
My girlfriends and I, we all had a wonderful evening, I recommend it especially for you girls over 50's... It couldn't be better! |
Best Mexican Gourmet!Rated:![]() by John Deer from USA Written 4 months ago | Looking for something original, tasty and of course Mexican? One block away form the Malecon I found this especial restaurant with a big red tomato on the door.
Nice place and full of surprises. |
Overratedby Marco Garcia Pineda from MexicoWritten 1 year ago | My friends and I (5 of us) came here on Restaurant Week based on other people's high recommendations. We were very disappointed both in the quality of the food and service. First, when we were seated, we weren't shown the Restaurant Week Menu. We had to ask for it. When the food came, the salads were swimming in dressing, and the entrees were small and underflavored. The chicken entree was dry and tasted like hospital food.
The short rib entree was one small piece of short rib swimming in broth. We complained to the staff who informed the chef, who in turn came to our table. When we told him how terrible the food was, all he could say was "I'm sorry, but what could I do?" We were just as dumbfounded. No effort was made to rectify the situation. Not a discount nor a free round of after dinner liqueur. Nothing. When the desserts came, the creme brulee was runny and a few days old. This was Restaurant Week, when all the other participating restaurants in PV showcased the best of what they offered at affordable prices. If a restaurant is half-hearted about doing this, it shouldn't participate. We definitely won't go back here. |

Hit or missRated:![]() by Michael from USA Written 1 year ago | I've eaten twice at this restaurant - once in 2003 and the second time last week. My first experience was excellent - innovative Mexican cuisine, good presentation and service. The second time was the opposite: My main dish was inedible (literally - the worst piece of porc I have ever been served in a restaurant)&service was very poor (no sense of timing, waiter recommended dishes that they actually didn't have). I don't intend to go back. |
touristby larry from USAWritten 1 year ago | We have eaten here twice in the last two years (out of the 12 annual visits to Vallarta) and found this restaurant to be overall as fine as any that we have been to, Atmosphere is simple and elegant, not crowded, food choices are more than ample and with every dish we have tried has been excellent. Good selections of wine as well. The service matches the other superlatives. You can spend less else where but you're assured of a superb meal here. |
Gourmet MexicanRated:![]() by David from US Written 1 year ago | Was very pleased with the food, presentation, flavors and service. This is gourmet Mexican cuisine, however, the price range is a bit higher than listed on the description. A must! |
