Fine spot, very pricy but quality is tops so make it a splurge.

I had visited after being disappointed by a different restaurant in the Romantic Zone that changed owners and was in desperate need of a good steak. Los Pibes delivered exactly what I was looking for. And the white beans served ahead of time were a refreshing surprise that I had forgotten about until I was reminded by the other readers remarks. I think I requested some balsamic vinegar with them and thought I would try to serve them in this manner in my own home they were so good. I ordered the Filet and had so much left over I was able to have steak for breakfast and lunch the next day before it was gone.The service was great and the food quenched my carniverous desires for at least a month. I liked the atmosphere of the outdoor Los Pibes that was in the marina along time ago a little better than this location, but the food is just as good.

They bring a large platter of steaks&seafood to your table as your menu. You select your food from the platter--Best meat in town. The parsley&garlic salsa is different&very good.

This was one of our favorites. As soon as we walked in my wife noticed the place was different and said they must have changed ownership, which our waiter confirmed. The service was spotty, the sexy dressed hostess was busy flirting out front, and the quality of the steak was way down but the prices surely were not! Next time we will go to the Argentine restaurant in Marina Vallarta.
