We have been going to PV for many years. Le Kliff has always been one of our favorite places to eat. Great food and atmosphere. the last couple times the quality and taste of the food wasn't very good. A friend that lives down there said they got a new Chef and he just isn't as good as cooks in the past. Our lobster was the texture of mashed patatoes. Go there, have a drink or two and go somewhere else to eat. It's a great place with bad food.

I went by city bus...it was fine....there were other tourists on the bus too....someone recommended LeKliff. The place is spectacular, the sunset was breathtaking....there was a wedding reception the late afternoon I was there....I thoroughly enjoyed the mariachi band, the beautiful bride, all the guests all dressed up ....

however, my lobster was not good and expensive.

If I went back, I would not order lobster, but I would go back!!

I have to agree with Steve (reviewer - 4 mos ago). I hate to say this, but, the food is mediocre to low-average. I can't believe it since I've heard so many good things about this place. We politely told the waiter that both my husband's and my entrees were not good&the manager came over, appologized&replaced it with something equally bad. We didn't make a fuss, we just know we will not return. And we rarely complain. It is pretty pricey, but I would have gone back for sure if the food was good. I love the location, the atmosphere. The restaurant resembles a kind of huge Tiki hut in Polynesia. The service was very good, but the food was overcooked and just didn't taste good, the sauces either. Very disappointed. The food gets 2 stars, the ambiance/location gets 5 stars.

I was there last April, and WOW! GREAT service, GREAT food, and that view is simply breathtaking. Yes, it's expensive, but worth it! I'm definitely going back when I return, and I recommended it to two friends who just booked reservations for a special dinner there in a couple of weeks.

This restaurant is something special, if I should arrange some big celebration like a marriage or a birthday, I would choose this place. The food is excellent and the view so wonderful that you don′t want to leave the restaurant!

The view is the best part of this restaurant. It felt like we would never get there, it is way out of Puerto Vallarta. I considered the food to be at best average. Service was good. Prices were expensive. It is worth it to go once to say you were there and see the sunset but after that I would find some other place to go.

Fantastic, we have a time share in PV and have been there 6 times, this is the first time we have gone to Le Kliff. Food was excellent and the view was breath-taking. I thought the price was reasonable for the quality of food, service and you cannot put a price on that view.
We got to feed the Kodomundee (sp?) she was eating rolls out of my hand. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Mexico. We will certainly be going back next time we visit Puerto Vallarta.

We are from Virginia and our good friends from Boston who were with us, enjoyed our amazing dinner and sunset at Le Kliff. The drive over from Nuevo Vallarta was an adventure by itself!
The food was exceptional, the waiters were perfect, the flaming coffee show was a real treat and a very special way to end the evening!
We had the lobster, steak and shrimp special and it was delicious beyond expectations! When we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of Le Kliff, and we have been around the world, even to Africa.

Le Kliff was outstanding in every way. The views and gardens were stunning, the food delicious as well as beautifully presented, the service beyond compare, and the hospitality incredibly warm and gracious. It was luxurious without being stiff and overly formal, high class without being stuffy or arrogant. It was relaxed elegance at it's finest. I would go back in a heartbeat, I would even make a special trip just to eat there again. I highly recommend it to any and all. Don't miss this.

The location of Le Kliff is awe inspiring. Watching the sunset perched above the ocean on cliffs above the bay is incredible. The food was great too. The service was just about adequate and the prices were way too expensive. For 2 people with only one drink each the bill was close to $180.00 USD with tip. I am glad to have had this experience but I will not go back.
