I would go to Puerto Vallarta again just for the fish...the snapper is incredible, I was seated by the rail where you can get to see the turtles and feed them as well, I enjoyed myself so very very much. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was incredable and the price excellent

La Laguna is a must to experience the local PV charm. They have the best coconut shrimp and delicious margaritas. Plus the servers are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The setting is great and it feels like you are apart of the Mexican culture.

The atmosphere is casual-tropical, the seafood is the best I have had in Puerto/Nuevo Vallarta (been there 3 timeS). Excellent value.

once you find it you will love it

We received a recommendation to the other restaurant by these owners but we didn't want to go into Puerto Vallarta that day so we tried La Laguna instead. We got seated right by the lagoon and watched a lot of water creatures, especially turtles waiting to be thrown bits of food. I would recommend taking bug repellent because we had a lot of bites by the end of the evening. The highlight of the night was the stuffed shrimp (stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon and then grilled) with a coconut dipping sauce. Awesome!!! Returning to Nuevo Vallarta in November and this will definitely be a spot we go to again.

The evening we visited La Laguna it was very hot but the staff made us comfortable with our own circulating fan. What a pleasure that was. The food was excellent. One in our party ordered the coconut shrimp was the best we have ever tasted - anywhere. The greatest little surprise was the peel and eat shrimp we ordered as a starter. I plan on returning for cerveza and the peel and eat shrimp before I leave Puerto Vallarta. There were 8 in our party and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Have been there 3 times and the fourth is coming up this Sept., 2007. Food and service is very nice. The Mexican coffee after dinner is great and the prep show is fun. We've had lobster, shrimp, steak and fish. Never a problem has been had.
