After 20 years of experience as chef and later opening two restaurants called Luna Park in North America, Joe Jack comes to Vallarta with this traditional Mexican food restaurant with a "modern touch". His specialties: Cevicie in big pieces and five different fish ($55-65 pesos); Octopus pozole ($85), Manta Ray in banana leaf with green sauce, and chicken marinated in axiote ($95). Among the drinks, they offer all of the cocktails. The establishment has two levels: the lower floor (mini-bar) shelters 15 people and there is room for 50 on the upstairs terrace.

Blue Cheese !!

If you are missing home and craving blue cheese, the blue cheese wedge is a must, along with the red snapper, the fish&chips, the hamburgers, etc... The best of anything your heart desires. We will be back, again!

We found Joe Jack's last year. I have been counting the months until we get back (only 2 to go!) The fish and chips are outstanding but the tarter sauce is amazing. The whole red snapper is a must if you are looking for the best in PV. We have been going for 18 years and I can't believe we missed this treasure.

We were down in PV last year for Halloween and had the most awesome meal's there! Our group all ordered different thing and then we all sampled each other's meals. Every dish we tried was excellent, and the service was great! We are heading down again on 10/29/08, and we will be eating dinner at Joe Jacks the first night we get in and probably many other meals too. Also the waitress there was so great, and very personable! The upstairs outside dining was beautiful at night too!
