Super!!Rated:![]() by Sherri from USA Written 1 year ago | We loved this small, lovely place! The owner kept her whole staff on until 11PM for ourselves and one other couple. We are from Napa Valley, California and are accustomed to excellent service and fine dining. Cafe A. rivals any restaurant back home. Great service, varied German fare, good quality food, great value. We will be returning to Hacienda Alemana. |
Great Atmosphere, Great Price!!Rated:![]() by Oscar Stiles from US Written 1 year ago | My wife (Fiancee at the time) and I went to Germany for the World Cup in 2006. When we went to PV for our honeymoon and heard of a German Restauraunt we were somewhat weary. However after reading their menu (and their beer selection) we decided to give it a try.
It was far enough away from the noise and action of the malecón that it was somewhat peaceful. The decor was very nice. It definately looks like an old hacienda. The owner, who is a German himself, spoke fluent spanish and english. He was a very nice man who came to great us personally and even ask us if we needed anything when the server was checking on our food. The schnitzl I had reminded me of the food in the breweries of Munich, as did the Franziskaner Weiss Beer. Very tasty. My wife had the Jagerchnitzl (same as mne but with a Mushroom sauce). For dessert we both had apple struddel. When it was all said and done we had each eaten a 3 course meal and I had at least 3 beers. The tab was very cheap for all we ate and drank. After leaving a nice tip we sent around $60. Very highly recommended for quality of food, service and atmosphere. Hacienda Alemana definately was worth it and I can't wait to return. |
Great place!Rated:![]() by Uwe from Germany Written 1 year ago | As a German guest in Puerto Vallarta, I was really surprised to get an original Franziskaner Wheatbeer! The taste is (almost)the same as back in Munich! Very good. Food is also great. I like this place and get back to it everytime I'm in PV...which is twice a year. |
German food in Mexico!?! A wonderful placeRated:![]() by Chuck from USA Written 1 year ago | We ate at this place last July. What a great restaurant! Cold beer served in a chilled German mug, authentic German food (hot& fresh), reasonal prices. During high-season it has an all-you-can-eat buffet. The one price even covers beer! We will try this during our December trip for sure! |
