Good food, horrible serviceRated:![]() by Joy from USA Written 4 months ago | The fajitas are fantastic. Our appetizers were comprable to Applebees, so if you want to get a good taste of chains in States, go here. The service was horrible, but that seemed appropriate as the less than professional manager was the staffs lead. We ordered 4 beers, 4 shots, 2 apps, 2 fajita meals, and 4 Spanish coffees. When we asked for extra beans, salsa, and tortillas, (after only being given enough for 1 fajita meal) we were charged an additional $9.00 US for them after being told it was not all-you-can eat! I felt as though they were pushing us through so they could close the section (it was 9pm). The outdoor seating is great, the food is tolerable, but I think you can find hundreds of more authentic places that make you feel like a welcomed patron. |
Best Margaritas and Fajitasby Tom from USAWritten 6 months ago | I have been to this place every trip to Vallarta and have never have been disappointed. They simply make the best margaritas of anywhere I've ever had. Also, the fajitas are my most favorite and the staff is so attentive, they are filling your water glass after every few sips! Great outdoor location. Highly Reccommended!! |
Ask for Kinky Lips....by lu from USWritten 7 months ago | Creator of some of the best Pina Colada's I've ever had! This has to be my favorite place to visit and eat in PVR. The food has always been fantastic, drinks refreshing and the service is second to none. I can't even count the number of times I've eaten here, and never been bothered by a timeshare salesperson. If you are looking for "authentic" Mexican food, go to a taco stand! This is a place that treats returning visitors like family. Love love love it!! |
Always a mustRated:![]() by PV patron from Canada Written 8 months ago | The excellent meals, friendly people and great atmosphere make this one of our mandatory stops each year when we vacation in PV. |
Yes, but...Rated:![]() by Don from USA Written 11 months ago | Our meal here in Feb. was good, but nothing exciting. I enjoyed the smaller more locally oriented restaurants I ate in much more. The one I liked the best I won't name as it's too busy as it is. |
Great food, friendly service, wonderful atmosphereRated:![]() by james Written 1 year ago | We had friends fly in on our third night in PV. We chose the Fajita Republic to dine. Great food at reasonable prices. Tasty margaritas and I love those outdoor basket lights. I'll fondly remember the dining experience and wish I had dined a second time instead of Joe Jacks across the street. |
Fantastic Foodby Trisha from USAWritten 1 year ago | One of my favorites. I eat here every time I'm in PV which is twice a year. Great atmosphere and amazing fajitas! |
Not so Hotby David from USAWritten 1 year ago | This place was OK, but there are soooooo many more authentic Mexican places in the area to dine. We also did not dine at any of the americanized mexican restaurants. We looked for the real deal. It was comparable to a ChiChi's, Chili's or Don Pablo's. Definitely far from authentic Mexican Cuisine. |
GREATRated:![]() by ALAN from USA Written 1 year ago | The Fajitas were EXCELLENT, guacamole, setting, everything was fantastic. THE Mexican FOOD IS FANTASTIC |
