Description

Espresso is a cozy Italian restaurant in the Romantic Zone featuring a wide array of traditional Italian specialities. In case you have the urge to eat late, they are open until 2:00 a.m.

You can sit and enjoy yourself forever at Espresso. The lower level is air conditioned and the upper dining area is open, with a good view of the Romantic Zone. The food is very good and the service is attentive. Try the baked lasagna and the thin crust pizzas.

My husband&I went inside for an espresso one afternoon while shopping. We enjoyed speaking to the owner&thought we'd come back that evening for dinner. The food was amazing. We sat upstairs&the view was great. The portions were big compared to the prices (really good for my husband)& the service was great. The food tasted homemade&the tomato sauce was really tasty not like "Ragu"!!We're planning to return this winter&will definitely be going back for more!! I would highly recomend it.

This is the real deal. The owner is Italian, as well as some of the staff, and a brick oven greets you with the aromas of the house. We tried the Marguerite Pizza and hand rolled spinach ravioli and both were heavenly. The homade garlic bread was also noteworthy. A little pricier than average, but gourmet. Chris - NYC
