Description

Visit the site where the movie Predator was filmed. Here you can enjoy fresh seafood and meats cooked to order. Work up an appetite swimming in the river and sliding down the flat rock slides.

The restaurant is a giant palapa that overlooks the jungle and river. Service is quick and friendly. Beware, this is a stop for may organized tours in the morning! If you want to avoid the crowd go in the afternoon.

To get there on your own: go to Hotel La Jolla de Mismaloya and take the road on the left that goes down towards the river. Follow the dirt road up the mountain several miles, following the signs to El Edén. You can also rent a horse outside of the hotel.

No electricity and some of the best food in PVR!

Fantastic atmosphere, bring your swimsuit, need to reserve a cab for 2 hours, tucked in the jungle and the mountains!

The restaurant was wonderful. The food was very good and had a great view over the water. It was a beautiful area with trails and bridges through a jungle-like scene. There were people swimming in the river below the waterfall and others swinging off the rope swing. It's a fun and beautiful place with excellent service at the restaurant.

Awesome !

We took the horses up to El Eden on a trail that winds thru the jungle. We crossed the river at least four times as our horses struggled to maintain footing. The horses were kinda small and skinny but got us there. The guide ran behind and once there we tipped him 20$ and told him to take the horses back. I dont think my rump could have handled the trip back. El Eden was a Palapa style restraunt right next to the river where you could swim and slide down the waterfall.

My wife and I had a blast and after an excellent dinner/drinks and great service called a taxi to go back to town. We loved it so much we rented a car the next day and drove up there again. I would definatly put this on your list of things to do. Was very relaxing and good ol fashioned fun.
