We love this placeRated:![]() by Heidi from USA Written 1 month ago | This place has not only great food but spectacular service and view. We eat here several times a year when we are in town. Last time, my husband went sport fishing and we brought the fish there and they prepared it four different ways for us- it was wonderful. The prices are reasonable and we would highly recommend it. |
Like Nowhere in the USRated:![]() by James from USA Written 8 months ago | My Mexican boyfriend takes me here when I ask him to take me to the best restaurant in Vallarta. It is indeed extraordinary. Beautiful in its simplicity and freshness, and amazingly varies preparation styles. Americans think of Mexican only as rivers of melted cheese. This is the real thing. |
LocalRated:![]() by art from mexico Written 8 months ago | The restaurant DOES sell booze, and at a reasonable price. Food is excellent. Dont forget to try the tortilla soup... excellent. |
Great Food..Friendly ServiceRated:![]() by Scott from USA Written 1 year ago | Patrons were mostly tourists the night we went for dinner. I do not believe it is open for lunch. There were lines of people so make a reservation otherwise you may wait 10-15 minutes for a table. The place is on the noisy side so don't expect to converse with old friends and catch up on old times. They had a small band of musicians who would walk from table to table to take requests and tips. Not much room for them, but some patrons enjoyed them. I would go back to this establishment again and we will go back next year.

December Citizenby Brian Haliski from United StatesWritten 1 year ago | Our favorite beach waiter took us to El Brujo for dinner one night. Somehow, we had missed this place for the past 11 years. When we started raving about El Brujo to our December friends - they ALL said, "We haven't taken you there?"
This is the real meal deal. Here is the restaurant that you came to Puerto Vallarta hoping to find. The decor is cheerful and uncluttered. The wait staff very attentive. The food is based upon the idea that 'fresh tastes best'. The price is totally right. |
Mr. DanRated:![]() by Danilo Folic from Montenegro Written 1 year ago | One of the best restaurantes ever. Probably my favorite.....
I am in Europe now, but i hope that i will visit this place again soon. |
Best Mexican in all of VallartaRated:![]() by John from USA Written 2 years ago | We ate at about 7 different restaurants while visiting Puerto Vallarta in March of 2008, we found the more expensive the worse off you are. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against fussy, foody restaurants. What I do have problems with is paying outrageous wine prices due to their luxury taxes, meat that is cooked well done, pasta that is al soggay as opposed to al dente, and just overall bad food. I will not name which restaurants these were, but lets just say one has to do with artits, and one has a separate floor for their tasting menu. El Brujo was by far 10 times better than either of these so called exquisite places.
I reccommend the stuffed fish, and the civche, both were to die for!! |
What a Great Mexican restaurant should be.Rated:![]() by Michael Mykecey (3 comments) ![]() from canada Written 2 years ago | Simple mexican decor, great service, busy - busy. The food is outstanding, big portions, reasonable prices and some colorful guests. Mouth watering dishes created with fresh ingredients. It's fun watching the chefs prepare all the meals, especially the flaming steaks. If you have to wait for a table, deal with it. It's worth the wait. |
A great mealby jim madson from usaWritten 3 years ago | A friend of ours that lives in Puerto Vallarta took us here. It was the best meal we had on the trip. Go early. He told us that later in the evening the line to get in stretches around the block. |
