Great Food..Friendly ServiceRated:![]() by Scott from USA Written 7 months ago | Patrons were mostly tourists the night we went for dinner. I do not believe it is open for lunch. There were lines of people so make a reservation otherwise you may wait 10-15 minutes for a table. The place is on the noisy side so don't expect to converse with old friends and catch up on old times. They had a small band of musicians who would walk from table to table to take requests and tips. Not much room for them, but some patrons enjoyed them. I would go back to this establishment again and we will go back next year.

December Citizenby Brian Haliski from United StatesWritten 10 months ago | Our favorite beach waiter took us to El Brujo for dinner one night. Somehow, we had missed this place for the past 11 years. When we started raving about El Brujo to our December friends - they ALL said, "We haven't taken you there?"
This is the real meal deal. Here is the restaurant that you came to Puerto Vallarta hoping to find. The decor is cheerful and uncluttered. The wait staff very attentive. The food is based upon the idea that 'fresh tastes best'. The price is totally right. |
Mr. DanRated:![]() by Danilo Folic from Montenegro Written 11 months ago | One of the best restaurantes ever. Probably my favorite.....

Best Mexican in all of VallartaRated:![]() by John from USA Written 1 year ago | We ate at about 7 different restaurants while visiting Puerto Vallarta in March of 2008, we found the more expensive the worse off you are. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against fussy, foody restaurants. What I do have problems with is paying outrageous wine prices due to their luxury taxes, meat that is cooked well done, pasta that is al soggay as opposed to al dente, and just overall bad food. I will not name which restaurants these were, but lets just say one has to do with artits, and one has a separate floor for their tasting menu. El Brujo was by far 10 times better than either of these so called exquisite places.
I reccommend the stuffed fish, and the civche, both were to die for!! |
What a Great Mexican restaurant should be.Rated:![]() by Michael Mykecey (3 comments) ![]() from canada Written 1 year ago | Simple mexican decor, great service, busy - busy. The food is outstanding, big portions, reasonable prices and some colorful guests. Mouth watering dishes created with fresh ingredients. It's fun watching the chefs prepare all the meals, especially the flaming steaks. If you have to wait for a table, deal with it. It's worth the wait. |
A great mealby jim madson from usaWritten 2 years ago | A friend of ours that lives in Puerto Vallarta took us here. It was the best meal we had on the trip. Go early. He told us that later in the evening the line to get in stretches around the block. |
Loved itRated:![]() by Don Verville from USA Written 2 years ago | My wife and I stayed for several days less than 2 blocks from El Brujo. The second day in town we stopped in and got some food to go and took it back to the condo, it was wonderful. The next day we and several friends started walking south from The Hotel Rosita shopping and sightseeing. We ended up walking up the island then across the swinging bridge which put us right near here. Six or seven of us went in for lunch and had a great meal. Everyone enjoyed it very much, and a couple of them a pretty picky eaters. My ceviche was awesome, the serving was huge and perfectly fresh. The servers were attentive and anxious to please. Try it. |
small and off the beaten trailRated:![]() by tom from usa Written 2 years ago | excellent seafood. i had the fish fillet in garlic and olive oil. to die for. my companion had a combination meal served in a hot lava bowl: chicken, beef, seafood, shrimp, vegetables. wow. and they serve great margeritas and take credit cards. |
