A Great Place for Family and Friends!Rated:![]() by Catharine from canada Written 1 day ago | We discovered Victor's Place last year, and were extremely happy to visit again last night. The drink prices have increased slightly, as they have everywhere else, but 45 pesos for a fresh-blended strawberry daquiri is still the best deal around! Victor's personal approach at hospitality is second to none. Meals we recommend: the chicken mole, breakfast shrimp omelet, smoked marlin burrito (it's huge!)
Feel free to bring the kids, as this is a casual dining place and the waiters are great with adults and children alike. Directions: enter the marina at the lighthouse and turn right. Walk almost to the very end. Victor's has an outdoor patio and bar surrounded with LED light ropes, as well as an indoor eating area. It's the LAST restaurant on the marina at the right end. |
Victor is the Best Host in Puerto VallartaRated:![]() by Jeffrey Davis from USA Written 22 days ago | Share a tequila with Victor and you are an amigo for life. Godd food, cold beer and reasonable prices all in a great location on the marina. |
Over the Top RestaurantRated:![]() by Alicia from USA Written 4 months ago | My husband and I were in Puerto Vallarta on vacation this month and found this place by chance. We visited twice while we were in PV. The food is to die for, the service is excellent and Victor takes good care of his customers! No lack of tequila shots! This is a stop you must make if you are visiting Puerto Vallarta. And it's nice because it's located in the marina, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. |
I Miss It Already!Rated:![]() by Mel from USA Written 4 months ago | I just spent a week at the Westin in Puerto Vallarta (a five minute walk max to Victor's) and ate there 3 nights. What can I say, great mexican and seafood, the staff is super attentive and became like family to us, and Victor himself comes over to chat with his guests (and is usually a few tables away eating with his own friends/regulars too).
They bring over free tequila shots, but the best part is the free Kahlua&cream drink they bring to you (also free) at the end of every meal. The location is great, it's at the beginning of the Marina's entrance (if you enter from the side of the Embarcadero hotel) and it's usually pretty calm, just a few people, families, etc walking around in the evening (a FAR cry from the crowded/extremely busy Malecon). I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vallarta. |
World's Best PlaceRated:![]() by Gerald Lande, DDS from USA Written 4 months ago | Victor's is the best for service, fun, food, and hospitality. During my family vacation of one week, we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks there and never were disappointed. The food was less expensive and better than the more "up scale" restaurants. We are planning to return soon and Victor's is the first place we plan to visit. |
Part of the familyRated:![]() by marelena from USA Written 4 months ago | We went there twice last October (sorry this review is late but I'm researching for my next trip) and I love this place.
We ate outside both times. The first time (10/7), we had a lovely simple dinner. Food was good and healthy. Nothing fancy. But, the sky opened up around 6pm and it was fantastic. We got the extra shot with our margarita and the servers were so friendly and took pictures of us. Second time, we had breakfast (chilaquiles) on our way back to the airport. We were a little upset watching local kids terrorizing an iguana nearby but that wasn't the restuarant's fault. In general, it's very relaxing with a lovely view of the Marina and an owner/host who can't be surpassed. I'm going back in December and can't wait. |
Great and Fun place in Puerto Vallarta!Rated:![]() by Diana from USA Written 7 months ago | I just got back from my Puerto Vallarta vacation and one of the highlights was Cafe Tacuba/Victor's Place. Not only is Victor a wonderful and personable man, but the food and drinks are outstanding, as well as the scenery on the marina. For anyone who is planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta, you must stop at this place. I guarantee that you will go back over and over again. Try the kaluha and cream drink - it's to die for. Also, have a shot of tequila with Victor. : ) |
Best deal anywhere.Rated:![]() by Dan Quinn from MI, USA Written 7 months ago | Every review that follows this one is absolutely correct. Nothing else need be said. I/we go to PV at least twice a year and will ALWAYS go to Victor's. Nowhere else can you go and get this quality, plus entertainment, for this price. |
One of the Best Fun Places in VallartaRated:![]() by Thorsten Koster from Germany Written 8 months ago | I am going to Vallarta for a very long time. As a matter of fact I got married there in 1991.
Since Victor opened this is one of our most favourite places to eat, sit have fun in short simply hang out. We can strongly recommend the lobster her serves there as well as the ′Empanadas de Camaron′. Basically everything is great there and at a great value. We were just there for christmas and New Years and had as usual a great stay. |
Victor's Rocks!Rated:![]() by Donna G. from USA Written 9 months ago | My husband and I first experienced Victor's back in 2001 and have been going back ever since. It's by far the best value in all of Puerto Vallarta. If you are looking for ice cold beer and complimentary tequila, good food and fun place to hang out - Victor's is your place.
This is a child friendly restaurant as their is outdoor seating available along the boardwalk. If the kids want to get down and play, feed pigeons or just stretch their legs their is plenty of room while parent's can keep a visual on their childeren. We'll see you this weekend! |
