Description

Tucked away in the Romantic Zone is Café de Olla serving hearty Mexican food. The portions are large and full of flavor. This family owned restaurant is a encore performer for many repeat visitors to Puerto Vallarta

Casual Mexican atmosphere. There are a few tables outside and the back part of the restaurant is air conditioned. The tortilla soup is just spicy enough and has generous amounts of avacado. The service is very friendly and attentive. Tip the roving mariachi bands and they will play a song creating a truely authentic experience.

We went here our last night beacause we had heard so much about the seafood platter. The restaurant was very crowded and there was a long line outside. We had made a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes of our time!
The service was good, the seafood platter&ribs were very good, and the restaurant decor was perfect mexican. The only thing bad about our experience was that the restaurant tends to be loud when it is so crowded, may be better to go earlier when it is not so crowded. The prices seemed a little high for what you got, but not so much food that you have leftovers.

This restaurant is very famous and people who work there are friendly. But the workers there sometimes are drinking out side of the restaurant and I think that is very bad for the restaurant. It would be nice if they don't do that often.

Wow what an amazing place to eat. I went there for my birthday and we had the seafood plater.. It was more food than we could eat and it was all amazing. The prices are very good and the service was amazing. A must if you are visiting PV.
