WonderfulRated:![]() by L. Lindquist from USA Written 10 months ago | My recent stay in PV gave me the opportunity to eat at THE Boca Bento Grill several times. There is no place in the area where I was able to get such great food, wonderful service, fantastic presentation of a meal, and the friendly atmosphere daily. This grill and bar made my trip the best. Thanks is every langauge possible to the staff, chef, and owner.

magical experienceRated:![]() by Phyllis Rosenthal from USA Written 10 months ago | Boca Bento has recently moved to Mismaloya from downtown PV. It was a beautiful restaurant with wonderful and creative Asian-fusion food there. The new setting is magical, to say the least! The food, beautifully prepared and presented, is as spectacular as ever. Having been to all of the so called "top" restaurants of PV, I have to say that Boca Bento outshines them all. ( I was there with 17 people, ALL of whom feel the same way) Congratulations! |
Our new favorite...Boca BentoRated:![]() by Michel from USA Written 1 year ago | With all the price increases you see throughout PV at all restaurants (high-end and basic restaurants alike), it is so nice to be able to enjoy a quality meal at an exceptional value with a superb atmosphere. Boca Bento is only 1 block from Los Muertos Beach in the Romantic Zone. My wife and I enjoyed Boca Bento's cuisine on 3 occasions during our 2-week stay in May. All food is prepared superbly, but our favorites are the sashimi/tartar appetizer, the duck carnitas, Thai prawns, and the steaks. We also love the personal touches. The owner and chef persoanlly check on you during your meal to ensure all is satisfactory. The next time your in PV, Boca Bento is a MUST!!! |
Best in VallartaRated:![]() by Canadian traveller from Canada Written 2 years ago | Have the calamari and lava chocolate dessert. And of course a main inbetween these two. YOu will love it. This is really some of the best food in vallarta!! Living in the city last year for 5 months I had a chance to visit this establishment often. You will not be dissapointed. Now that I'm back home in Vancouver I am still trying to find calamari that compares. Oh for the best coffee go to Cafe du Soleil, on constitution...great americanos!! |
Service needs to be improvedRated:![]() by Joseph Myzrahi from Canada Written 2 years ago | We had a reservation for a party of 8 people, we were seated in a special area divided by veils at the back of the restaurant in an area close to the coffee bar and the kitchen entrance, not bad, except most of the waiters forgot we were there, seems that they don't set a table there very often... we had to ask twice for our drinks and remind the waiter to bring more water... the food was good (not exceptional, and that was a consensus) and it seems that the acoustics from the rest of the restaurant concentrate in this area, or the party two rooms away was just too noisy. In general is a good restaurant with nice flavours, but is still far from being the best restaurant in town. |
Asian Flavors with a Latin SoulRated:![]() by Anonymous Written 2 years ago | We visit PV every year from Washington State, and for the last three visits have enjoyed the delectible styilings of Boca Bento. This time around we delighted to see them open for a third season and thouroughly enjoyed what their new and improved menu offers. Amazing appetizers like Panko-chile crusted Calamari, AMAZING, and Duck Quesadillas. Not to mention the best organic salad ever! If you are from the northwest you know how big we are on seafood and Boca Bento has done it again, offering great seafood dishes such as Adobo Prawns, Japanese/cajun grilled Salmon, and Bacon wrapped scallops. They also added a Ribeye to the menu and do an outstanding surf and turf special if you ask for it. Boca Bento embodies everything that is progressive, alternative, and inovative in modern cuisine. Meant for true food lovers, THIS PLACE DOES NOT DISSAPOINT. |
The best food we had in PVRated:![]() by Chicgail from US Written 2 years ago | Someone in the kitchen at Boca Bento knows what they are doing. This was the only memorable food we have had in PV. Many beautiful locations and vistas, but BocaBento is the real thing. Top notch food across the board. The owner spent time with us and even sent a complimentary dish to our table.
A must-go if you have a discrimiating palate. |
