Great View/Atmosphere - Food= SO,SORated:![]() by Ron B from USA Written 2 years ago | After reading the reviews on this website I was eager to try Aduato's Place. Unfortunately, I must agree with the lone dissenter in that the food was only so, so. I've had much better in Vallarta. I chose the Mahi Mahi in white wine sauce and my wife had the Coconut shrimp. I thought the shrimp were decent enough, but over-priced at $22.50 USD for the number you got. The Mahi was rather bland, and thats OK if the sauce were flavorful, which it was not. The cost of the Mahi was a reasonable enough at about $18.00 USD. The waitstaff was very attentive and courteous. Aduato is very personable. For starters I had the Caesar Salad, prepared at table side for $9.00 USD which was again OK. Bogarts is better. My wife chose the green salad which was a bargain at $4.50 and really large and full of veggies besides the lettuce. We were served really wonderful warm, garlic bread slices with our salads and meal. Drinks are a bit on the high side though. To start, two Pina Coladas were $17.00 USD. We finished the meal with Mexican coffee, again prepared at tableside for $24.00 USD. All totaled our bill for four drinks, two salads and two main courses was $945.00 pesos or about $90.00 USD. If you read some of my other reviews you'll note I'm not a cheapskate nor am I overly critical. It's just that I've had much better food for much less money in Vallarta. I probably won't go back and would only suggest it to someone for the view. Fir the price and the food I'd go to Mariscos Tino's in Punta Mita. |
Great Place, Food and StaffRated:![]() by Bryan in eugene from USA Written 2 years ago | Have followed Adauto from Los Tulles and was not disappointed. They make you feel completely at home and the food is the best. The combo platter is enough for 2. Go once and you won't go to another restaurant in Bucerias. |
best in the world!!!Rated:![]() by Terry Niccoli from us Written 2 years ago | Adauto's is more than a restaurant, with the best atmosphere and mostly...with Adauto! He is magnificent...we always recommend his place to everyone we meet, and no one is disappointed. |
Great view and atmosphere, food blah. $10-35pp is realistic.Rated:![]() by Mike from Mexico Written 2 years ago | I had the prawns and they were over cooked. My wife had the shrimp enchiladas and they were OK but not worth what we paid. If you want great views and staff, this is the place. If you want quality, tasty food keep looking. |
A must! when visiting Puerto Vallarta.Rated:![]() by John Berge from USA Written 2 years ago | The best in Mexico; we'll always go back for the beautiful sunset, the great service and the very warm "owner's" welcome. |
The Best Meal of My 2 Week Vacation in P.V/Rated:![]() by Suzi Jenkins from USA Written 2 years ago | This restaurant has the best steak I ever had?
Everyone at my table got a taste of it and wished they would have ordered steak. But there are so many choices, like the Kalua Shrimp, chicken,
a variety of Mexican dishes.
The service was impecable, very efficient and friendly. The view is breathtaking!! Your probably are going to need directions but once you get to Bucerias the locals can help your taxi cabdriver find his way |
Great view in BuceriasRated:![]() by Sandy Modders (9 comments) ![]() from United States Written 2 years ago | Owner Adauto is a great host! Service was great, lots of food, you'll need a carry out! Best ribs and chicken. Get there for sunset! |
I Love It Hereby Joe W. from U.S.A.Written 2 years ago | See my comment from last year. Last week I took my daughter here to eat. I had the same soup, entree and drink as last February. Again it and the service were wonderful. My daughter was equally impressed. Unfortunately my wife stayed at our resort to watch the grandchildren. She misse an excellent meal, sunset and drinks. Again the service was prompt, excellent and extremely friendly. Next fall we'll bring our son and daughter-in-law, and next spring our other daughter. We love this place. The only caution I have for you is the streets are cobblestone and not easy to navigatge and if you stay somewhere, other than Bucerias, you may have a hard time finding the place even if it is on the beach. If you do find it, enjoy it, just as we have. |
BEST SHRIMP AT SUNSET ON THE BEACH, FEB 2007Rated:![]() by nancy wiebe from canada Written 2 years ago | I was at a charity auction and bid on a dinner for two, even overbid for it because i had heard it was good. It wasn't good food, it was spectacular! i ordered the shrimp pablona. i savored each and every morsel, i couldn't believe how awesome it was. i believe the best shrimp i've ever had. my date had the shrimp in pure kaluha sauce - very different. and the sunset around 7pm pv time made it a romantic evening. please don't pass this up, must go! |
