Tropicana Category 4 stars

Have stayed at this hotel 4 times. Great location. Clean but spartan rooms. I have stayed in hotels at twice the price in PV that are not as nice as the Tropicana.

If your wanting to stay in the romantic zone, this is the place to stay. I'm going back this winter for two weeks. I'm looking forward to it!!!

We have been to the Tropicana 4 times in the last 7 years. It's a great location and easy walk anywhere you need to go. Close to restuarants and the staff is always pleasant. Only draw back are the HARD beds.

On December 26, 2007 was my first time in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in the hotel TROPICANA. It is a great place to visit and i really like it and i wish i could go again. I might go this year again with all my family. The service is excellent, the price is good, the location was the most beautiful place i been to and well the food was good to but I really didn't like it because I was feeling kind of sick, so to me it didn't tasted so good, but yes I do recommend this hotel. My grandma had an issue about her lost ring she though the lady that came in to clean stolen it but later she found it. LMAO! I'ill be hoping to come again.

I have stayed here the last week in October for the past 3 years. Every year the service has been outstanding. They're constantly cleaning and taking care of the property. The location is absolutely perfect and the beach is beautiful. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Puerto Vallarta.

I stayed at the tropicana 10 years ago, and then again in February 2009 for 10 days. The service was excellent, from the staff in every area of the hotel. It is a great place to stay, with great beach access, and many places to walk to in town.

Good location good hotel ,however the bed was hard

I love the Tropicana. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the staff are VERY happy, pleasanr and eager to help.

I have gone to the Tropicana every Novemeber for the past 5 years and will keep returning. Great pool side food and drinks.

They are continuously working on the hotel. My AC did not work but a new unit was put in the next morning.

I have been going to Tropicana for over ten years and love the place. It is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the total ambiente is superior. I am disabled and so appreciate all the help I received. I will always return here.

The superior suites are nicely and newly redone. The hotel is in the process of installing 2 new elevators as of late Nov 2008 one is working and is very nice. The only problem we had was the coffee pot in the kitchen did not work well. Everything else was great including 15 peso beer at the pool bar.
