Love this PlaceRated:![]() by sarah from us Written 2 years ago | We have stayed here three times and can't wait to return. We are not fussy or demanding so service here is perfect and comfortable. Management is involved and responsive. Service is good. Nothing like returning to the room after a long morning at the beach or a day spent shopping and finding a clean and air-conditioned room we stay on oceanfront so can read outside late into the night. During summer nights it is not unusual to get a thunder and lightening storm all night long. In the morning, it is sunny and beautiful. The cafe next door served a wonderful espresso before a late dinner. |
La Plays Los Arcos - Puerto Vallarta MexicoRated:![]() by Denise from Canada Written 2 years ago | We stay here every year and we just love it. The beach is right there...the locals that work on the beach have our chairs, umbrellas and towels waiting for us each and every morning with the biggest smile on their faces. We enjoy the beach vendors with fresh fruit, mahi mahi and srimp on a stick, the happiest man on earth selling lobster salads, and cervesa's nice and cold in a bucket on the beach. It just doesn't get any better than this. As long as you have a good attitude towards continually being approached by the vendors selling their wares...you'll just love it. Personally I find the vendors part of the charm and have started bring kid things from our local dollar store for the children who come around selling magnets that I don't really want to buy. Instead I give them something from home that puts a big smile on their faces. Don't eat the food from the hotel...it's terrible. Freddy Tucan has the best breakfast ever and the hotels restaurant outside on the street with it's white table cloths has an awesome breakfast and late in the evening they have the best coffee and beautiful deserts to try. The rooms at this hotel are really nice for an older hotel. |
Amazing VallartaRated:![]() by Deana Campbell from U.S.A. Written 3 years ago | We traveled to PVR for Spring Break vacation and was it ever a V A C A T I O N! Our ocean front room was amazing and we could hear the waves at night as we slept! Playa Los Arcos is just the BEST! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The sunsets were to die for. We went to Yelapa by water taxi, parasailed, zip lined, Rhythms of the Night and ate at great restaurants including Le Kliff, Pipi's, Vista Grill, Fredy's Tucan and Cafe de Olla. Old Town Vallarta is where everything authentic "Mexican" is, and we loved it. The city of PVR is very welcoming and we are traveling back to PVR again this December. Can't wait! |
A Touch of Old VallartaRated:![]() by Teri Elmore from USA Written 4 years ago | We love staying here at Playa Los Arcos in the nicer rooms with an ocean view. It is close to everything and all the service is wonderful. A place you would want to always come back to. We do!! |
Kim in CanadaRated:![]() by Kim from Canada Written 4 years ago | We have been to Peurto Vallarta a few times and love this hotel. It's clean, on the beach and on a great location. And yes, the beds are comfortable....the pool boy was cute to! |
Fabulous Mexican FeelingRated:![]() by G from Canada Written 4 years ago | We just returned from our trip in PV staying at Playa Los Arcos. What fabulous hotel! Everything we needed from an ocean view room in a hotel that felt like we were in Mexico rather than in "anywhere", to a large iguana on the tile roof.

ExcellentRated:![]() by pat from usa Written 5 years ago | LAura and I took our first trip to PV and avoided the alincs. This was not only a good deal but it was in a great locaiton. Clean and fun. Good food, service and tranquil, inside of a nice older zone. All inclusive is also good; we tried that for one week. |
Worth the travel from the UKRated:![]() by Julian Bracey from UK Written 5 years ago | Ola ! We plan our return after 10 years ! We spent 3 weeks at the facility May 1997&had such a great time we returned in December 1998 for a further 3 weeks. My wife Avril reaches her 50th birthday in April 2007 and of all the places in the world that we have visited, we can think of no better place to celebrate this occasion than the Playa Los Arcos Hotel, Puerto Vallarta.
Location, facilities, personalities, ambience, atmosphere - a 'home from home'. The best place we have ever been. Julian&Avril (Wales, UK) |
