guestRated:![]() by Valentina from USA Written 1 year ago | We stay for one month (in February 2012) and were very satisfied.
Room was cleaned up every day. Even we asked do not change our shits every day they still changed. Stuff is very friendly and hard working. Our made Azucena was making cute swans and elephants out of towels and made our beds different every day, decorated room with fresh flowers. We were very pleased. At front desk we always can get advise and help. Food in Palapa was very good and fresh! We loved Flamingo chicken cripes. We miss them! |
Greatby Bonny from CanadaWritten 1 year ago | We have stayed here 2 times and the place is reasonable, clean and quiet. We plan to come again and maybe stay a bit longer. |
Great find.Rated:![]() by Dee from USA Written 1 year ago | We normally vacation some distance up the coast from Puerto Vallarta, and have been looking for a hotel close to the airport to extend our stay one or two nights at the beginning or end of our trip, in order to be more flexible for lower air flight days. The Flamingo is ideal for this purpose.
Our room on the 2nd floor was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice view from the balcony, overlooking the pool and the marina. We ate at the restaurant for supper, the food was very good, and the staff were amazing. Unlike the smaller hotels in PV which we have stayed in, there was no traffic noise to disturb sleep all night. The end location on the marina gives you a great view, is still easy to walk anywhere on the marina walk for restaurants or shopping, but is away from the noisy central area. We plan to stay here again whenever we need a short term stay close to the airport. A great value for the money. |
Great SpotRated:![]() by Brenda from Canada Written 3 years ago | The Flamingo is a great little hotel that is perfect for the travellor that is looking for a laid back, clean place to stay with a convenient location and close to a lot of great restaurants. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, the location was safe and also convenient. You could either have a long leisurely walk into town ( after you pass the marina where the cruise ships come in you can cut to the beach and essentially walk right down town) or catch the local bus for a mere 6.5 pesos. The pool was clean and there was no problems with getting a lounger at any time of the day. If you like boats then this is the perfect spot - tons of beautiful sail boats and motor yachts to see right from your balcony. I am looking forward to coming back....soon. |
Charming, Clean, Bug-freeRated:![]() by Steph from Canada Written 3 years ago | The staff was wonderful. Nice pool. There was a safe in our room for valuables. The paint job wasn't perfect, but it was clean, pleasant and reasonably well-kept. We felt safe here and thought it was romantic because of the simplicity and charm. |
WonderfulRated:![]() by Bonnie Clarke/Bruce Williams from CANADA Written 4 years ago | Now if your expecting all the glitz and glamour of a 4 star-
forget this hotel! What we found was genuine old world charm and for the money, it is an excellent deal. It is perfectly situated on the edge of the Marina, where there are many vendors to compete for your pesos. It is not far from the Airport or Wal-mart if you have a hankering for some Americanized quality with a Mexican blend. Downtown, Puerto Vallarta is also within reach. I loved the charm of the hotel Falmingos-the maid service was great, rooms were clean,T.V. worked, our shower was great, food was just so,so. The only recommendation I would make would be to put small fridges in the rooms to keep drinks cool!I hope I am able to return one day to Mexico and I will repeat my stay at the Marina Flamingos

Great value !Rated:![]() by Sandy Modders (9 comments) ![]() from United States Written 5 years ago | Overall if you want a good, clean room with a nice pool, and a great location and price, this is the place ! |
Would Stay AgainRated:![]() by Phyllis from USA Written 5 years ago | Perfectly located for our visit with friends moored in the Marina. Room was very clean and quaintly decorated as we envision old Mexico; and more than we expected for the price. Inside hotel staff very friendly. Wonderful deep tissue massage! Lots of good restaurants nearby. |
Close to Marina and RestuarantsRated:![]() by Ramesh bas from USA Written 5 years ago | Location is great. Central to all attractions. But if you want to experience some class look someahere else. This is below average. Old furniture, beds, toilets etc. Room does even have a clock or a tub.
Even internet is in Lobby only. Close to this there are better hotels. |
RelaxingRated:![]() by Erin from Canada Written 6 years ago | After reading some bad reviews on the hotel we were all a litttle worrried but it exceeeded our expectations. if you are travelling wit small kids and looking for a beach or big pool close by may not be your best choice. or if you are not familiar with any spanish or looking for the typical all inclusive trip, but if you are looking for a simple laid back trip with a poool, lots of great food, shops, and true mexican flavour this is a great hotel. I spent the last week there and enjoyed every moment of it. not only is it cheap but the employees are very friendly and always trying their best to help. |
