We love Dreams this was our fourth time and will returnRated:![]() by Jeri Sansum from United States Written 4 years ago | Check in was very smooth with the glass of Champaign and a cool rag.
Our room was 1511 in the original tower my sisters was 1411.
Both rooms and bathrooms were very clean at all times. They have wonderful large bottles of shampoo, lotion, sunscreen that has the most awesome smell of oranges, shoe cleaner, mending kit, shower cap, and a box with a q-tip and piece of cotton. One bottle of shampoo lasted the entire 10 days. We even had a spare on the bathroom counter.
Both rooms had beds that were nice to sleep in and not too hard. They also have new pillows to sink your head into. Towels were replaced twice daily. The fridge was filled every day. The safe worked at all times. It was nice to have fresh coffee while we dressed for breakfast.
We ate breakfast at the World Cafe. They have fresh fruit, cheese trays, cold cuts, fish, yogurts, pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs of any kind, breakfast meats, cereals hot or cold, bloody Mary's, champaign. sweet roll and breads.
After breakfast we went to the beach and got chairs in front of the Oceana Resturant. We would walk the beach front for 2 miles and then read.
Lunch we had at the Sea Side Grill or at the World Cafe. Way too much food to chose from. They also serve hamburgers and huge hot dogs on the beach with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions, mustard, ketchup, and mayo.
We had our evening cocktails at the lobby bar. The bartender knew what we wanted from the last time we were at Dreams. Beef Eaters and tonic for my husband and Champaign for me and my sister.
Dinner: This time we ate every night but two at Portofinos. We loved the fact that it was adult only and had AC. The service there was the best you will find anywhere and the food was superb. We loved the rack of lamb and filet.
They served warm bread with soft cheese inside or french bread with fresh parmesan cheese. There is no reason to order a bottle of wine for an extra charge as their house wine is excellent and you may have all you want.
The evening entertainment was very nice. No, it is not Vegas or Broadway but it is very very good. We loved Rock and Roll night and don't miss latin night.
The managers reception is not to be missed.
We has massages at the spa almost everyday. The spa is very welcoming with lighted luminiers as you come in with great relaxing spa music. They have a sauna, steam room, plunge shower, shower, and everything you could need. shampoo, toothpaste and brush, mouth wash, deodorant. hair dryer,
They have many activities to do durning the day and night. They put a daily activity sheet in your room every evening. We visited the wild life zoo that is around 8 miles south of Dreams. It was worth seeing.
I have seen the many improvements done to Dreams PV every time we come to this wonderful place. I was told by the manager they will be putting millions of dollars worth into Dreams PV durning the next two years.
We feel this is a very well managed resort. One of the best for the value. It does feel like coming home every time we return. It has a understated elegance to it.

Our 1st trip back will be 29 June to celebrate my birthday&we can't wait. I'm travelling from London for the pleasure of your hotel&I can see by the reviews that you've continued to provide special service in one of the prettiest spots in the world. I can't wait to sit in my jacuzzi&watch the brown pelicans fly by in formation at cocktail time.
See you soon, Lorraine |
HoneymoonRated:![]() by Lea from USA Written 5 years ago | We spent our honeymoon here, excellent resort. Beautiful and well kept, food was great, a lot of choices, drinks were strong and delicious. Only complaint was beds were just a little hard for our likes. |
Everything, but weight lossRated:![]() by Larry Smith from USA Written 5 years ago | We brought kids and grandkids and there was truly something and more for everyone. The service was the perfect balance of attentiveness and respect for your privacy. In the entire week I think the only disappointment was the lack of snorkels, masks and fins. Bring your own.
Just a terrific place the kids and grandkids will remember for the rest of their lives (us to). |
Honeymoon BlissRated:![]() by Cassidy from USA Written 5 years ago | We took our honeymoon to Dreams during Nov 2007 and everything was perfect! We really enjoyed relaxing and spending time at the pool, ordering room service and dining at all of the wonderful restaurants. The resort is on a beach that is blocked off from the public, so it seemed very private and was beautiful. I can't wait to go back one day! |
Nicole&Jose from New YorkRated:![]() by nicole from usa Written 5 years ago | Dreams resort is absolutely amazing, my fiancé and I stayed at Dreams November 2006 we went there the day after we got engaged the staff at dreams is wonderful we didn't have to lift a finger the entire time we were there.
