Description

Real del Mar is a unique location created by six hills that provide natural privacy for all of their neighboring residents. Real del Mar is located on one of the highest appreciating real estate corridors in all of Mexico, equidistant between Puerto Vallarta and Punta de Mita. This project is considered among the most exclusive in this area and will total 59 homes on 30 acres of land that includes six summits overlooking the ocean.

As of now, over 30 of those homes are constructed or in progress. For the select few that remain, one has the possibility of a real estate investment that can serve multiple objectives: capital appreciation, vacation and personal use and potential for rental income. The attractive topography of the land and positioning of its peaks affords these homes incredible views of the Bay of Banderas (the largest bay in North America on which sits Puerto Vallarta). The homes are on two or three levels, ingeniously incorporated into the hillsides with pools and ample terrace areas directed at the unique view of each location.

I just returned from a 3-day trip, where we stayed at one of the residences at Real del Mar. IT is about a 20 minute drive from the airport and about a one-hour drive from downtown Puerta Vallarta. The location is amazing.....many residences are literally carved into the hillside, so you can directly overlook the ocean as you are lounging in your infinity pool. The attention to detail at this resort is amazing....lush foliage, hand-made stone walls and walkways, beautiful decor, comfortable beds and fluffy comforters, etc. There is a small, but well-appointed gym, spa, tennis courts, and beach club down by the water with numerous smaller pools and places to lounge and sunbathe. The expanse of sandy beach is not big here, as both sides of the sandy beach are flanked by rocks and boulders. While I did not see the inside of any other residences, I did drive around the property in our golf cart (each residence has one) and all the residences looked beautiful in their own way. I really felt like I was in the lap of luxury here. My only caution is that it is quite far from downtown and there isn't a huge amount to do nearby, so you'll need to shell out some money for cabs. Overall, I highly recommend it. I think Gwyneth Paltrow stayed there recently, so you can imagine it must be nice!!!!
