This is a new option for women’s apparel, featuring Italian styles, and accessories, as well as decorative pieces for the home. Their silk production, from the cultivation of the silkworms to dying the thread, is done by hand and used to produce dresses, blouses, skirts, jackets, scarves, etc. They also carry stonework imported from Europe, as well as some cotton apparel. Their figurines and vases are a new concept in décor, designed by Italian designer Loretta Bertoli and made from Mexican clays.

Distroller
With materials that she had on hand, Amparin would create useful and beautiful things at home. The aesthetic value of her creations was discovered by two friends experienced in the business world. Now under the name Distroller, they have six stores in Mexico City, four in Guadalajara and now this first location in Puerto Vallarta. In their display cases, you can find fashionable items, toys, coin banks, cups, bracelets, backpacks, handbags, and their main attraction, the neonates, lifelike dolls sold with assorted accessories.

Hashira Sushi
Located in the strip mall that surrounds the gas station at the second entrance to Nuevo Vallarta, this restaurant offers a complete line of Japanese cuisine popular in Mexico, as well as some that are not so common. Their sushi, as well as the sauces and dressings, include innovative colors and flavors. Their own creation, the varnished roll ($95 pesos) consists of breaded kanikama with cucumber and avocado inside and tuna on the outside. It’s accompanied by an octopus salad, shrimp tempura and an eel sauce.
