I just met with the vet we work with, Dr. Francisco. He told the pound has to close for Easter. No one will be there to take care of the animals. He was very sad about this and doesn't want to go back up to the pound today in case there are more animals left there. He is currently taking care of 13 dogs from the pound and has no space for more. Dr. Francisco took 10 dogs out of the pound earlier this week to sterilize and deworm. They'll be at the library tomorrow. If they aren't adopted or go into foster homes, they will be euthanized Saturday afternoon. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN - either by adopting of fostering for two weeks until the library and the acopio are open again.
SPCA de PV badly needs financial donations to pay vet expenses. We are enormously grateful for the help we receive. Thank you.
