Last year the salsa/Latin music club Jabalu moved to this location, after the previous disco, Cactus, closed and moved to a smaller and more intimate spot. Recently, Jabalu closed and now Evolution has taken over the location on the corner of Ignacio Vallarta and Manuel Dieguez. Years ago, this was home to the extremely popular club, The Cave.
Evolution, celebrated their grand opening last Wednesday night, filling the disco with hundreds of dancing and drinking bodies. A 250 peso cover charge kept a few people at bay, but the people who took the plunge partied on well into the night. The cover charge included open bar throughout the night.
Evolution has a weekly calendar of events, featuring open bar and bikini contests on Wednesday nights, foam parties on Thursday nights and Latin night on Fridays. Evolution is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
