November Arts Festival

November's calendar is quickly filling up with events, from the 9th Annual Festival Gourmet, the Sailfish Tournament, the John Huston Homage Film Festival as well as the November Arts Festival.
This year's Arts Festival will run from November 7th to the 18th. The kick off of the event will feature a parade starting at the Hotel Rosita at 7:00 PM and running along the Malecon to the south of the hotel.
After the parade, singer Tania Libertad will be in concert at the Los Arcos Amphitheater (Teatro Aquiles Serdan) across from the Municipal Plaza. Libertad is known for her extensive catalog of bolero songs as well as combining her Peruvian musical upbringing to blend with her musical travels through Cuba and Mexico. Currently, Libertad is on her debut tour of the United States with concerts in Florida, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Libertad will wrap up just in time to kick off the Arts Festival.
There is no charge for this concert or any of the concerts at Los Arcos Amphitheater and the public is welcomed.
Other events happening during the Arts Festival include art walks with most of the local galleries participating, dinner theater at Santa Barbara restaurant on Olas Altas, photography Exhibit at Los Mangos Public Library along with a host of other concerts and expos both at Los Arcos, participating hotels and at the Municipal Plaza.
