"I started with this communication medium in Puerto Vallarta, because I was curious enough to combat injustice. What did I do to keep it going for so many years? Well... it has not been easy ... "
The weekly, Aquí Vallarta is distributed free of charge and has to date published over 2 thousand issues throughout its history, and for several decades, has been the most influential in Puerto Vallarta, leading important causes, exposing abuse of authority and coming to the defense of public spaces.
"My public life and home life are very typical, nothing extraordinary, like any housewife and mother. In my spare time I enjoy watching TV a lot, and reading. I read everything that I come across, a little bit of everything. "
Recently, on the occasion of the anniversary of the weekly, Mariquita was observed to be very happy and satisfied with her two babies that began life just nine months apart, Aquí Vallarta was born in March and her son Fabricio in December of the same year.
"Puerto Vallarta has changed a lot. This is clearly not the Puerto Vallarta that I knew years ago. This is still a great city. For me the idea of Vallarta is very beautiful, very good people who give their soul without being asked. What I like most about Puerto Vallarta is Vallarta itself. Everything."
