Bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman, his brother, son and two members of a reality television show will appear before a judge today in Puerto Vallarta to hear their fate.

On June 18th, Duane "Dog" Chapman and crew captured Andrew Luster in a residential area of Puerto Vallarta. The bounty hunter had originally stated he was coming to Vallarta on a tip that Luster was south of the border. Chapman's plan was to bring Luster back to the United States to serve the 124 years in prison that he was given in absentia at his sentencing. Besides taking a convicted rapist off the streets, Chapman was hoping to collect a reward for Luster's capture.

Luster had been allowed to spend nights at his home during the trial after his bail was reduced from $10 million dollars to $1 million dollars. Luster, the heir to Max Factor cosmetics had a net worth of over $30 million dollars. Luster was able to post his own bail and remain at his home while the trial took a short break in January, 2003. During the break, Luster removed the "house arrest" identification leg alarm and fled the country. Luster had been on the run for over five months until his capture by Duane "Dog" Chapman and crew.

The bounty hunter and companions will find out later today what their future will hold. The five men each posted $1430.00 bail and signed papers on Saturday with immigration authorities stating that they will stay in Mexico until it is decided whether or not they will be charged with kidnapping or if they will be allowed to return to the United States.
