The dog's moment has arrived in Vallarta. For one weekend we celebrate man's best friend and will award them prizes for their skills and aptitudes.
The first Dog Show of Puerto Vallarta will take place on March 11 and 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the softball fields of the municipal stadium. The contest will reward the canines according to their beauty, obedience, agility, and grace. In fact there will be distinctions for the pet that most looks like their owner and the ugliest mutt. There will also be a show with police and guard dogs, from dog training schools Wolf's and COP K9, as well as performances of various exercises by the entrants. The prizes to be given out among the participants will be bags of dog food, free vet appointments, and diverse pet accessories.
Wash your dog, put on its leash, and bring it to compete among the best of the local pets starting at 8:00am on March 11. The registration fee is $50 pesos per canine. Admission to view the show is free.
