A question that has flooded our inbox is "What is there for children to do in Puerto Vallarta?" Here is your answer! Along for the ride (0-3) For mom's and dad's bringing babies to Vallarta consider trips that take you around the area by bus, allowing the little one to be lulled by the wheels of the bus going round and round. See the city or the rainforest, or even both! Ready for a little adventure (4-7) Children will enjoy a day of fun aboard the Marigilante along with fun at the beachside Pirate Land. Games and contests keep the young ones entertained on the journey to Pirate Land, once there they can swim, kayak, ride the banana boat, or play in the sand.Sneak in a little cross cultural learning with the Mexican Fiestas at NH Krystal or La Iguana. Enjoy Mexican food, music, and dancing from all over this beautiful country. Almost grown up (8 and up) Explore the jungle For children eight and up (and at least four feet tall) can go screaming through the tree tops on a canopy tour. On your journey you will learn about local flora and fauna Prefer to explore the jungle with your feet firmly planted on the ground? Explore the jungle on the Sierra Madre tour. You will travel in custom Mercedes Benz trucks to the jungles of Vallarta, visit a small pueblo, and spend time on a secluded beach. Dolphins for the whole family Jump in and enjoy time with bottlenose dolphins in one of the dolphin programs. Dolphin Kids lets children age 4-8 to get in the water with these intelligent creatures, but don't worry, mom or dad can watch poolside. For those 8 and up (including mom's and dad's) check out the Dolphin Encounter and Swim with the Dolphins. For a full day of dolphin fun, you can be a Trainer for a Day! Wait, there's more! The Bolerama Vallarta in Marina Vallarta has 18 lanes available for your bowling pleasure. This is also an ideal place to beat the summer heat or take shelter from the rain. On the way to Nuevo Vallarta you will find high speed fun at the Go Kart track. The one and one half mile track is made for speed demons. Looking for something a little slower? Try you luck on the Putt Putt course, 18 holes complete with sand traps, water hazards, and a volcano. Children will get a wet and wild thrill at Splash Water Park. It's a complete water park with 12 large waterslides, one reaching eight stories high! The kid's area features seven waterslides and there is also a playground, dolphin tank, sea lions and exotic birds shows. There is so much to do there is no way you can fit it into one vacation! Enjoy your time in Vallarta, and do not forget to use sunscreen and a hat! Nothing spoils fun faster than sunburn!
