Editorial review

Seldom does an architect have the opportunity to design a golf course on land that has such an abundance of natural features; a test that renowned golf course designer David Fleming has met beyond all expectations. The greatest challenge of the design was not to overwork the property, but to work with what Mother Nature had already given. Where the course exits the jungle onto three breathtaking ocean front holes, more shots are taken with cameras than golf clubs. The ocean is seen from nine holes with spectacular beaches and crashing surf.

It's one of the most beautiful golf courses in America. I've played Pebble, Spyglass, Torrey Pines, Medina, Olympia Fields and no one has the scenery that Tamarindo has. I've been there 3 different times already and this next Christmas will be the 4th. Excellent golf course. Very well maintained.

Outstanding course, layout and scenery were unmatched. I stayed in Manzillo and was told at the resort I must play this course and they were absolutely correct. Loved it and will play it again. It's a hidden gem
