Villas Vallarta by Canto del Sol Category 4 stars

i Went to Villas Vallarta and i loved it. They are so kind and very nice i went for a week and one of the pictures was my exact room!!

The food was Great and we really got to know the staff!!

When we left we missed them all so very much and we missed being on vacation when i was there i felt like i was at home!!! The pool was clean but when we went it was not the best weather it was raining :(

but i would LOVE to go back!!!

If your looking for a hotel in puerto vallara, go here. i had so much fun with my family for two weeks at villas vallarta. best hotel by far that i have ever stayed at. the buffet is huge! so much to choose from, never get bored. the snack bar is great as well. the staff are amazing always friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay great. the pool was ginormous. probably the biggest pool ive ever been to! great entertainment at this hotel always a huge party at night time. the beach is amazing!, white sand and so peaceful and clean. the hotel is so unbelievebly clean. me and my family sometimes ate off the floor! im so impressed with this hotel, you need to go to this hotel!

We had a blast at Villas Vallarta for 2 weeks! Hard working, friendly staff! Beautiful Rooms! Really enjoyed it! Thanks:) I would recommend this hotel.

We just returned from our 2 week vacation at the Villas Vallarta and we had an absolutly phenominal time. the staff is very very friendly, and the option of using Canto Del Sol's facilities really comes in handy. We were there 90% of the time.

We just returned from 2 weeks at Villas Vallarta Sept. 17-Oct.1, 2005. We have 2 children ages 5 and 8. We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this hotel. The kids club was a lot of fun for my boys and I felt very safe leaving them for a few hours in Monica's capable hands. The food and drinks were very good. The location of Villas Vallarta in relation to Canto del Sol was closer than I had imagined. It was no trouble to cross the street and be in the Canto del Sol for our food and activities. The time-share salesmen that waited out side of the Villas Vallarta were annoying but you just have to ignore them. Over all I would highly recommend this hotel. I have to say that we went at low season. This probably added to our enjoyment because it was not too busy or the pools too crowded.

We just returned from a nice relaxing week in Canto Del Sol. Only problem was the hotel closes down at midnight, so the people who don't go to the clubs have nothing to do. Food was good, no problem with the drinking water, bartenders and waiters were great. We enjoyed the entertainment so much. Very professional with such a small group of entertainers.

During our first trip to Mexico last month (June '05) we stayed at Villas Vallarta. Our 2 bedroom suite was clean and serviced thoroughly by the maids however the hotel wasn't busy during our stay, 06/11-06/25, so they didn't keep the pool area very clean and the poolside bar wasn't open. The Villas have a major problem with pigeons nesting underneath the roof. We saw lots of bird droppings in the pool and on most of the lounges at Villas. As such, we spent most of our time at the Plaza Vallarta across the street which was busier and maintained well. The pool was much larger and kept very clean. Although the facilities were sub-par at the Villas, the personnel at both hotels were fantastic. Lorena and Cristina at the Villas front desk were very helpful and always greeted my wife and I and our 3 kids with a smile and an Hola. At Plaza Vallarta, the waiters (Hola Francisco) and host (Fidencio) were very friendly and helpful. We got to know the bell-boys very well who appreciated our efforts speaking Spanish and were helpful in teaching us new phrases...Hola Memo and Jose. The kids loved spending time at the Mini-Club and became very attached to Karina who was great with them and also performed in the nightly shows. On a couple of ocassions my wife and I left the kids with Karina at 10 am and picked them up at 4:45pm when the Mini-Club closed and spent the day relaxing by the pool. She brought them to the restaurant and made sure they were fed. She had a different activity each hour and they varied day by day. All in all it was a great experience because of the wonderful people employed at Canto Del Sol Villas and Plaza. Muchas Gracias para todo.

Last year in november i deiced to take my boyfriend for his first vaction ever. We have never been to mexico before and we were nevious only being 20 and not knowing the area at all. But the staff at this hotel were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful with all of our stupid questions. the food was very good. we ate at the hotel for almost every meal. and we always enjoyed it exspect for the a la cart restaurants. They were no every good at all. The service was great but the food was nothing compaired to the buffet. the day entertainment was amazing they were so nice and got everyone envolved. the only big problem i had was the pool was very disapointing. i hate to say it but i have heard that mexico had amazing pools and this pool was 4 feet straight across not every big at all. the swim up bar was nice though. the ocean was full of rocks my boyfried cut the bottom of his foot open on a rock. but i would recommend this hotel. only if you don't plan on spending alot of time in the pool. but everything else was amazing and great.

CARLOS AT THE FRONT DESK WAS GREAT ALWAYS A SMILE AND MADE US LAUGH ALOT FRANSISCO AND RAPHEAL IN THE RESTAURANT WERE GREAT AS WELL SAy HI TO THEM ALL FOR US IF YOU GO IN CANTO DEL SOL RESTAURANT THERE WERE TWO EVENING WAITERSN NAMED JAVIER( BOTH OF THEM) that made our evenings great the day syaff has b BIG problem with big parties eating together they need to work on that as there were 10 of us(5 adults and 5 kids) that wanted to eat together other then that it was a fine stay not a 5 star but your not paying for a 5 star we would go back again
