Villa del Palmar Category 5 stars

We have stayed at VDP several times as we own timeshares there. There are 3 pools inc 1 for adults only. All of the rooms have complete cooking facilities and they have BBQ's as well by the adult pool. Gigante market is about 1 1/2 blocks away and has all you will need if you wish to save on some meals. The bus stop is right out in front and 5 pesos gets you down town in 15 minutes or so. The maid service is great and the 3 $ they add to you bill at the end is for tips. The pools were very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The Onsite restaurant's are average and maybe a bit over priced, but with all the other options, this is not a problme. AI is optional.

Even though this hotel is older than it's sister, Flamingo's, in Nueva Vallarta, I prefer this hotel simply because of the fact that the people are more friendly and the location is idea. The service was great, accommodations excellent and the food was delicious. Location was also nice as it is only about 5 minutes from downtown, and it's about 10 minutes from the airport. Overall, a BIG 8 out of 10! Highly recommended!

I love this place, it is in a great location, wonderfull service and very nice hospitality room if needed. The only thing that i can say that is not the greatest, is the food, its just o.k.

The hotel was one of nicest we have stayed at in Mexico. But the timeshare people will not let you enjoy your vacation. They bother you all the time even on the beach. It made our stay misrable.

Found everything perfect, no complaints. Everyone was awesome, the people very friendly the services wonderful. I would for sure go back.

I stayed at Villa del Palmar last year for 2 weeks, and I am going there again this year in December. It was so beautiful, and amazing. The people there were so kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the attractions and pools were all excellent. The food served at the various restuarants was truely delicious. I would recommend everyone to this hotel. I was definetely impressed.

We have been coming to PV for almost 20 years! We were die hard Acapulco fans and then we won a trip, fell in love with PV and bought two weeks. We have since upgraded to two bedrooms suites so we can take family. Everyone goes out of their way to make your stay the best. Feel at home immediately each and every time we go back. Massage on the water was great! Vendors&Time Share people are part of the charm - just smile and say no!! We are going with 19 family members in June (very easy to pull weeks and use all at the same time) - can't wait to show them "OUR" Vallarta!!!

I stayed for 4 days and I loved it! This resort was great...the employees, the location, the facility and food, etc. I am actually staying there again in November when I go back. It's great if you have kids or, if you just want a romatic getaway with your loved one. If you want to just soak in the sun or enjoy the amentities, I highly recommend this resort to anyone and everyone.
