My cousin and I stayed three nights here in March. Great location and facilities. It was worth the extra $10 for the balcony and kitchenette. The rooms and pool were clean. Having a concierge and convenience store in the lobby was an unexpected surprise. The onsite restaurant was inexpensive and good. It served breakfast and lunch until 5pm. Easy beach access was across a busy street. A large grocery store was a few blocks towards town. 50 Cents got us to Centro in minutes. This is a nice off beach motel style destination.

My name is Julie, I am from Canada. I spent 5 months here, by myself, in Vallarta Sol Hotel during 2006 winter. I loved this place, the Mexican staff is very nice, the hotel very clean, and safe. The pool is quiet and so clean ! My Mexican style room was very convinient: tv, air conditioner, kitchenette, pool view, wireless internet connection( free) Take your laptop with you ! You can find everthing you need around here,within 10 minutes walking: good restaurants, grocery store, taco stands, drugstore, hospital, Consulate of Canada ( just in case), and if you want to go to the marina, or downtown or somewhere else, the bus stop is 1 block from the hotel. Of course you can get a taxi very easily ! They have really good price, Stop by and have a look at this lovely Mexican hotel.

I had a wonderful time there, clean, nice people and perfect location for me, just one block from a great local restaurant, fitness club, beach, money change place. It was perfect.
