Vallarta Shores Category 5 stars

A few years ago my husband and 5 teenage children were guests at this beautiful authentic hotel. It was a worry free enviorment for us all. The staff treated each of us like old friends and were very helpful ie; ground transportation, extra towels, food recommendations, etc.
The rooms were impressively clean and true to the beautiful Mexico architecture!
A couple of years later one of our son's chose to return there to spend his honeymoon, knowing it would be an impressive place for a new bride.
Our family talks of this fond memory often and hopes to return soon!

Stayed in Penthouse A at Vallarta Shores the end of June beginning of July 2007 and had a wonderful time. The villa was hugh and laid out perfectly. There is a private pool, stereo system, large kitchen, internet access, tv's in all rooms and most importantly, on the beach and quiet. Great staff, great chef, great service. Easy walk for ice, beer, coffee, ATM's and restaurants. We will be back.

We loved our stay at Vallarta Shores. It is a lovely, quaint brick fronted hotel right on the beach in the heart of the realPV. If you want old Mexican charm, great service and comfortable quarters, without the trappings of the bigger touristy complex hotels, this is the place to be. You can walk to almost anywhere in town, eat at the fabulous and moderate priced beachfront restaurants or go para-sailing only a few feet away. When you'r ready to call it a day the sounds of the surf will lull you to sleep everytime. This place is a bargain. Don't miss it.

We ended up here by accident after Hotel Brisas del Mar informed us upon our arrival that they didn't have any record of a reservation for us. Staff was fabulous, and the rooms were wonderful. Also, for our last minute stay, they didn't jack up the prices and take advantage of our misfortune. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! Jody-Minnesota
