The Tropicana is located on Los Muertos; the most popular beach in Puerto Vallarta. Just steps away from the best of everything Vallarta has to offer. This mid-sized hotel has been recently renovated adding a new tower with Superior rooms. The pool, beach and hotel grounds are beautiful, and offer you hours of fun in the sun and relaxtion activities.

All Superior rooms come complete with air conditioning, telephone, cable television, balcony or terrace and a gorgeous ocean view. In new tower not all Superior rooms have ocean view.
In the old tower, the rooms have been renovated and all are ocean front.
 
Jr. Suites - No View

These new Jr. Suites have NO OCEAN VIEW and are located on the land side of the hotel.
They have two beds, kitchenette, air conditioning, telephone and television.

Have stayed at this hotel 4 times. Great location. Clean but spartan rooms. I have stayed in hotels at twice the price in PV that are not as nice as the Tropicana.

If your wanting to stay in the romantic zone, this is the place to stay. I'm going back this winter for two weeks. I'm looking forward to it!!!

We have been to the Tropicana 4 times in the last 7 years. It's a great location and easy walk anywhere you need to go. Close to restuarants and the staff is always pleasant. Only draw back are the HARD beds.
