Vallarta Sun Suites Category 3 stars

We have been to Puerto Vallarta many times in the past 20 years, and stayed in many different places. We have stayed at Vallarta Sun Hotel for the past 4 trips.We will be there again next week (02-10-08) for a 2 week stay. we love it. The only problem is that people have discovered this hotel and reservations are getting harder to get.

We have just returned from our first visit to Mexico. We stayed at The Vallarta Sun Hotel, in Puerto Vallarta for 1 week and would recommend it very highly. It is exceptionally clean and safe and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - very close to the beach, shops, galleries and restuarants. We hope to return one day and would definately stay here again.

We have stayed many places in Vallarta. This was a wonderful stay, extraordinarily clean and friendly. Very close to beach and great food. Also, pool was clean and very quiet. We hope to return this Feb.

We stayed at the Vallarta Sun Hotel in October 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location in the Romantic Zone is perfect for us, right near our favorite restaurants, shops and the beach. Joseph was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Our room, the pool and the entire hotel were the cleanest we've ever seen in Puerto Vallarta. This hotel is a very good value for the price. We're so glad we discovered the Vallarta Sun and will be back to stay again.

Clean, peaceful, secure. We live in a nearby pueblo and whenever we spend a night in Puerto Vallarta we go to the Vallarta Sun. Someone is on duty at the front desk/entrance at all times, no one but guests are admitted. Refrigerator and coffee machine are a bonus, as is the free purified water available near the office. We've never used the pool, but it is sparkling clean and well tended. Nice people working there, and the location is supreme.

A very nice hotel located near the beach. The room was clean and very nice. It is a quiet area and the staffs were so nice and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely choose this hotel if I go back to Puerto Vallarta.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights in June 2007. We found it to be a great bargain. Very safe and quiet, and located in a wonderful neighborhood for exploring (important to us since it was our first time in PV). Very basic compared to the all-inclusive resorts, but we loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable smaller hotel with an excellent location. Very clean, quiet and safe. The night manager was very nice and spoke good english. Highly reccomended for the money.

I've been to PV many times and have stayed in many different hotels, but this is where I'll stay from now on. Quiet, very clean, balconies, close to my favorite beach, good size bathroom.....an overall great place to stay!!

Vallarta Sun Hotel was great, just what we were looking for. Quiet, away from the all-inclusive resorts, tucked away in a neighborhood setting. Nothing fancy, but very clean. And the location was within walking distance to buses, the beach, El Centro, Rio Cuale.
