I stayed here one month at a good rate and received good service and excellent value. The hotel is on a busy street (Insurgentes) but I enjoyed the livliness and especially like being in the "romantic" zone where the people are more typical of a mexican town. If you stay here be sure to go to Tony's Plase (sic.) a few blocks east for a great fish- pescado- dinner.
Everyone was very friendly and I was treated fairly.

It's in a good location to walk around and explore without any trouble finding your way back! It was very clean and bright, and the staff were so nice letting us use their fridge to store our leftovers in .I will definitely try and stay there again.

I have stayed there many times.It is a long walk to the beach, but a very good place to stay.

I like the young people who run it; it is a fabulous location for downtown walking; the rooms are clean; the pool is small, but clean; it is quiet, unless you are on a lower level and you hear the busses and local dogs; the maid service is ridiculously cheap (so I give her way more);the rates are very reasonable. This is the best place for someone on a super budget. If you are looking for fancy, it's not for you! Basic, safe, and clean. I'm going back this spring for a month.

I stayed here several years ago for a week, I'm going back this year for 6 weeks---need I say more. The manager speaks english very well, but the rest of the staff speaks only spanish, so bring a dictionary.
