excellent resort

I was very impressed by the rooms,the service was excelent, the suimming pool is huge and it had three jacuzzi in the middle of the pool, I can′t discribe with words how amazed I was, the employees were very wonderfull, and the landscape beautiful.

Time share and the beds are hard! Sales people at every turn. Stay away from them!

Peaceful and serene. Very quiet. Grounds immaculate. Beautiful manicured trees, shrubs, and flowers. Rooms were spotless. Pool water clear and warm. Service was great, all employees had a smile, and did their best to please you. Food was terrific, delicious, and varied, and relatively inexpensive for this quality of resort. The golf was out of this world, each hole more picturesque than the previous. View of golf course side was superior to ocean side, you could see the lights in PV at night, cruise ships in the harbor, along with the nightly fireworks. The entertainment was varied, from relaxing jazz at the Lobby Bar to wild dancing at the Night Club. You really don't have to leave the resort. If you want to get away from the trials and stresses of your daily grind, definitely come here. Will come back again and again. (Knew to stay away from the time share people.)

I went 3 years ago to the mayan and all i have to say is that the service is really bad and the people who work there is mean. We went there for a break but they were pushing us to buy a Time Share every hour besides everything that they said to us was turned out to be false.

Beautiful Place, HIGH PRESSURE sales tactics at every turn. We were approached to buy a timeshare at the Grand Mayan-it ruined our vacation. After promises of food discounts all over the hotel and Puerto vallarta, we attended a timeshare presentation. After 7 hours of what we now know were lies, we unfortunately purchased. Downright fraudulent sales practices! Beware-most everythinng in these high pressure sales presentations are lies and, once you sign, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK AND MONEY.

Wide open spaces and lots of amenities - clean - good food.

We are going back for the 2nd time. We went last year and just loved it. The Staff was polite and couldn`t help you enough. It was very clean. Location was great, nice and quiet, but if you want action, just a short cab ride into Puerto Vallarta. We are looking forward to going back with our friends.
