Marival Grand & Club Suites Category 5 stars

Have travel all over the world, the service, decor and staff was the best I have ever received. This is truly a first class hotel. Great hotel for anyone who want to relax and have a great time. The food was outstanding. We will be back next year.

My family (hubby, myself, two kids 7&4) went to this resort the second week of January. The resort is beautiful, clean and the beach was spectacular. My kids had a blast using the boogie boards provided by the resort and spent many hours on the waves of the ocean. The food was pretty good. The buffet was pretty tiresome by the third day. My kids are fussy eaters and lived on vanilla milk, mini fruit loops cereal and French fries from the walk up restaurant at the beach. We found La Bamba restaurant on the beside the beach where the kids pool was by far the best food for our family. They have more westernized food. The rooms were okay, nothing spectacular but clean and the beds sucked. We were moved to another room because we were right beside a mop room and above the air conditioner. The drinks were good, my husband never complained, lol. My kids loved the kid’s pool, water slide and froggy slide. The weather was great, the mood was fantastic and we plan on going again at the same time in 2008. I hear the beds are being changed...lets hope so if there was any major complaint it would be the beds. Also, for families with fussy children, bring along some food favorites that is allowed thru the boarder as it is a long week when your child won't eat the food they have there. Even the yogurt tastes just a bit different...trust me the kids know when things just are not right, parents you know what I mean.....have fun, this resort is great for families....would not recommend to singles or to honeymooners....more of a family atmosphere.

This was our first stay in (PV) as well as Marival. Just returning home Jul 18, 2007. This resort is a 5 star facility and service everywhere is simply excellent. We visited El Palomar de Los Gonzales, an incredible restaurant high in the hills above Puerto Vallarta (a block or two from Liz Taylor’s home). You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. The view at sunset and into the night is incredible. We will definitely return to Marival again. The Restaurants in the hotel are the best, the people in The Mexican One are fabulous, and they are very kind and so fun. We can wait to be there again.

Our families stay at Paradise every year and it is absolutely beautiful! Housekeeping spends hours every day cleaning your room, which is beautifully appointed and elegant and the lobby and common areas are the same, beautiful, spotless and elegant. The room service is great, if you don’t want to eat in the restaurants and the snack bars open till late are fabulous if you want to eat a peace or pizza after midnight. Beach is perfect and you can walk for miles! We travel all over the world and always get drawn back here!!

Titile says it all

We just returned from Marival today. Located 20 minutes away north from downtown PV, you will never need to leave Marival where there is something for everyone all the time. Our family of 5 stayed at a 2-bedroom 3-bathroom full air conditioned ocean view suite that was huge! The room was impeccably cleaned and the fridge stocked with beer, water and sodas daily.
The buffet was themed daily (Mexican, Italian, Seafood, Tex-Mex, Oriental, etc). Food and drinks available from 7 AM to after midnight at the snack bar and every night there was a different clean-fun entertainment in the main lobby. Kids and adults having fun together, dancing, etc. Activities in the game room include pool, ping-pong and video games but you can also play tennis in any of the four courts, rent the bikes for a ride to see the dolphins, rock climb right on the premises or even do bow and arrow shooting. The ocean is warm and beach clean, with huts and lounge chairs and service galore for your drink of choice. Can't say enough. Definitely a highly recommended full-vacation place!

My wife and I have stayed at the Marival no less than 5 times. There is no better place in all of México. The Marival is a Familiar resort where you can be as active or as idle as you wish. The Food is Fabulous, the Staff (and service) is great, the Pools are awesome. If you're into Spa Treatments, the Marival has an amazing Spa. The Marival is always clean and friendly. My favorite activity is to lay out like a lizard by the pool and have the friendly staff come by every 20 minutes pampering me with drinks

We got married there and spent the honeymoon there. They took care of all the wedding arrangements, made it so simple for us but totally beautiful and memorable. Lots of food choices, great rooms with view and Jacuzzi, service excellent. The beach was amazing and there another about 15 minutes away and it was beautiful beach. Amazing spa. Versatile: you can relax, be physically active, or be partying whenever you want. Excellent value, especially in early autumn when it's off season.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marival. We stayed in a once room suite...it was spectacular! Felt like a condominium! Pools were beautiful. Grounds were well maintained. Bed was a little hard, but I wouldn't hesitate to return to this result.

We were in Nuevo Vallarta for a wedding and spent 4 days at Marival. The staff is wonderful, the rooms and pools are beautiful and the restaurants fantastic! Meals seemed very costly throughout Nuevo Vallarta, though; if I were to go back I might more seriously consider the meal plan.
