Marival Grand & Club Suites Category 5 stars

I went to the maraval last year with my family and we had an amazing time. The swim up bar was amazing with spectacular drinks and a wonderful staff. The food and shows were amazing. We went their on the 4th of July and they put on fireworks for the Americans. The location is awesome and great for all ages. The malecon was also amazing. If you are thinking about going to the Maraval stop thinking and go NOW!! You won't regret it. :)

The Marival Suites is absolutely amazing! My husband and I just got back 2 days ago! (we stayed 5 days, 4 nights). The buffet was our favorite! All of the workers were also bilingual!
The resort also has shows every evening, which were very entertaining! (there is also a disco)
This place is SPECTACULAR!!! I definitely recommend it!

Vacationed at the Marival the first week of March 08. The facility is wonderful with exceptional staff.



Very liberal with the alcohol drinks. The buffet wasn't that great but the individual restaurants were a lot better. The snack bars were exceptional. You could easily make a full meal at the snack bars.



The facility is remarkable. Lots to do. The kids pool is fabulous. Next time we will take our small child.



There isn't anything at this hotel that wouldn't fit everyone.



I highly recommend this hotel and location.

i have been to this hotel 3 times 1 on my own and 2 with my partner. we are due there again in june this yr for our 1 yr anniversary and could not wish or dream for a better set of friends and service and holiday.we thank you so much and please dont change a thing. its hard to improve on perfection. see you all soon

MARIVAL IS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL WITH GREAT POOLS. THE BEACH IS SPECTACULAR. PLENTY OF CHAIRS AND TOWELS AVAILABLE FOR THE EARLY BIRD.
THE FOOD IS BARELY EATIBLE. THE BEEF IS GRISSLED. THERE IS VERY LITTLE TASTE TO THE MEXICAN CUISINE. THE WORST WAS THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT WHERE EACH ENTREE WAS THE SAME. I WOULD PUT TACO BELL A STEP UP. AT ONE OF THE OUTDOOR BARS, SNACK AREA I HAD A BURGER OF MYSTERY MEAT. THAT NIGHT AND THE NEXT DAY MY STOMACH WAS OUT OF ORDER. MOST BARTENDERS ARE UNFRIENDLY AND TRY TO MAKE DRINKS WITH THE MINIMUM OF LIQUOR. HOTEL IS A LONG RIDE FROM

WOW!!! The service is wonderful! The pools are great they have bars in the pools and the facilitie makes non-alcholic drinks for your kids!! I loved the rooms!! Everything about the hotel just blew me away!!!!! I defintally recomend the Marival Grand&Club Suites!!!!!! It is the best hotel you will ever go to!!!!!! I know it was the BEST hotel I ever went to!!!!!!!

I was here with my boyfriend, and we had a very relaxing and amazing experience! The service was really good, and the staff very friendly and pleasant. The food was really good, and I will definately come back here. I have recommended this hotel to friends and family.

I stayed in The Grand Marival Hotel in Jan 2005. I was there for a week and when I left I was crying on the plane. LOL.

The service at the hotel was exceptional. As soon as we got there, we had our bags taken to our rooms for us by a worker at the hotel. Also, everywhere around the hotel, there were small cafes where you could get something to eat for free. The only place in the hotel where you had to pay was at the seperate restaurants that the hotel had.

The pools at the hotel were very good. I couldnt go in one them though because it was for adults. :( Two of the pools had bars situated next to them, which led actually into the pool. They had seats in the pool, so you could sit down whilst you drank! There was a pool which had a waterfall at the top of it, and it also had a volley ball net and water basketball nets. There was also a pool for kids. The sea was very good too. It wasnt cold like it is in england. The only problem was that the waves were quite high.

The rooms at the hotel werent the largest of rooms, but they were practical and comfortable. The bathroom was kind of small, but it was quite sophisticated.

In conclusion, I would give the resort a 9/10.

Went to this resort on my honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful area, and a spacious room. The timeshare pitch in the beginning was annoying, but easy to handle if you know what you're doing. My wife and I got food poisoning from one of the restaurants and were sick for 2 days. Also, there was a dispute over some missing cash from one of our rooms which was never resolved. The resort was way too kid-friendly for our taste, but would be fine for a family. Reading reviews, I believe our experience was unique, but next time in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, I'll be staying down the road a ways.
