We stayed in the newest building. The only thing we did not like was we had a connecting door with the next hotel room and could literally hear every sound. If we can hear them, they can hear us....made it quite uncomfortable. Other than that, the facility is BEAUTIFUL. The pools are stunning, the service impeccable, we just adored this facility!!!!

Would recommend highly.

I stayed there pre and post op gastric bypass surgery. The room was comfortable, clean and not over priced. What a wonderful way to recuperate!

Nicer than we expected!

A week timeshare stay was a gift for our wedding from my husband's grandmother. We stayed in 516, the closest villa to the center lobby (which is one of the coolest lobbies I've ever seen) and we enjoyed our week.

They have most things you'd want, I'd give it a 4.5 of 5.0. We're young 20something honeymooners, so our experience may be a little different. This would be a great place to bring your family, or for retirees. One complaint we had, our villa walls were so thin we could hear everything in the family's villa next door. Gets a little annoying in the mornings.

The Krystal staff is nice, watch out for those "promotions", they catch you as soon as you check in, and anytime you need anything else all week. We didn't go on the promotions, but their offers for free massages and discounted tours made it attractive.

The pools are nice at Krystal, some parts need a good bleaching for mildew, but they were nice and relaxing. Swim up bars nice, but not all they're cracked up to be with $57 peso prices/per drink. The Krystal would do well to establish a bigger, friendlier bar than the one in the lobby. The Americans and Canadians would love to sit around and drink like they're in Margaritaville.

Nice location, close to the bus stop, clean room and daily housekeeping. I wish there had been more little places to eat within the Krystal. We paid American prices for most things inside the resort. This area around the Krystal will be built up and more fun in a few years, I think.

All in all, a positive fun experience, and close to a nice, quiet part of the beach.
