Awful night on our Honeymoon

We stayed at the Pescador for one night (scheduled for two) and we had the most awful, dank room that had no natural light. The only windows were in the bathroom and one looking out into the walkway to the stairwell. It was very disappointing. Also, our pillows smelled dirty. The location was great, but otherwise, stay someplace newer.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The view over looking the ocean, fantastic. You can see the dolphins, whales, manaray's from your balconey, Very straight forward rooms. Very clean.Very close to the malacone 5 mins away. Close to everything you need. ROSE OV March 15/04

We just spent a month in Mexico, all up and down the coast. We stayed at the El Pescador to begin and end our trip. It is spotless, the staff is very helpful, and the pool is great. We watched whales spouting from our deck chairs. We liked the city view rooms better than the ocean view. They seemed more like you were really in Mexico. The tile showers were very large, and the closets were huge. The room stayed nice and cool. The ocean view rooms are smaller and look like any chain hotel.
