Pleasant no-frills hotelRated:![]() by Peter S from Canada Written 2 years ago | Have stayed here twice. Rooms are average but clean and reasonably quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great location near the beach. Good value for the money if you don't want a fancy place. |

inexpensive clean hotel with great locationRated:![]() by Wayne Lewis from USA (Texas) Written 2 years ago | I've stayed at the Eloisa many times over the past few decades. A friend and I 'discovered' it on a free trip to PV which came with a visit to a new development in the US. The prices are great the service good, facilities clean. I always stay upper floor inside since noise would wake me up. I'v seen it go through changes and it still is changing. It was a favorite with Canadian tourists when the Canadian dollar wasn't worth so much. I haven't been back in a few years but when I return, I'll stay at the Eloisa. I've seen it change from a large hotel a block wide to 2 hotels divided. The rooftop was undeveloped intially (kind of abandoned) but has been made very nice. I'm glad to hear the restaurant is back....it wasn't there for a number of years as the interior was redeveloped. That part of PV is my favorite...you can live comfortably on a reasonable budget. When I first stayed there the park across the street was tin huts and lots of homeless people. The park there now is nice, clean and attractive. I recommend the Eloisa....I've always enjoyed staying there and what I don't spend on hotel makes it easier to enjoy other things in the area. I'm quite fond of the area and the Eloisa contributes to that. They've never let me or my companions down.

Hotel Eloisaby Dee Dee from United StatesWritten 2 years ago | This is definitely a budget hotel. It was clean and the staff friendly. Pool (and view) on the roof was nice. Walking distance to everything. Beach was 1/2 block away. There was a lot of construction outside some renovations inside the hotel. Walls are thin so you can hear noise in the hallways and also your neighbors. We spent very little time in the hotel. |
very convenientRated:![]() by Ricardo Rubio from Mexico Written 2 years ago | this hotel has a great location, and low prices. |
Missing EloisaRated:![]() by Julie from usa Written 2 years ago | I think that if you are going to PV you should consider staying at Hotel Eloisa. I had an amazing experience. I really liked swimming on the roof top at dusk staring at the ocean. The romantica zone is the best. I was glad that it was not full of tourists. If you are female this hotel feels incredibly safe. Do yourself a favour discover Hotel Eloisa. |
BasicRated:![]() by Christine Bennett (1 comment) ![]() from United States Written 2 years ago | A very clean, basic, affordable place to stay right in the middle of everything. We could easily walk (we are 70+ years old) to the Malicon, downtown Puerto Vallarta, beaches, bars, and good restaurants. We were only there one night and never knew about the rooftop area and pool. The only problem we had was a noisy party (bar?) up the street from about 1:30am to 4:00am which woke us up and kept us awake. There was construction going on in front of the hotel, but that was not a problem to us as they did not work at night. We sat outside our 4th floor room with a bottle of wine and a beautiful view of the hills south of us and the ocean to the west. |
Cozy and affordable:)Rated:![]() by Jane from USA Written 2 years ago | You can call this place "little New York." We chose this place because of the location and price. We only needed this place for couple nights until our timeshare started.
When we first saw the place it reminded us of New York's cozy hotel but much cheaper price ($94US for 2 nights). We booked the basic room with no AC or TV, this didn't really matter to us. The weather was nice that you didn't really need the AC but definitely needed the fan. TV was not needed, we were very busy and hardly in the room. Customer service was friendly and nice. The room was clean and hotel itself was clean. Location was awesome, easy to get around to all local places. I would definately recommend this place for anyone who doesn't mind basic accomodation and would rather spend their money on souvenirs, excursions and food. We did also take our two kids who didn't mind the small atmosphere.
Our timeshare was located in Nuevo Vallarta, which we didn't care for. It was too far from downtown and cost us $18 US taxi one way to get there, you can take the bus for $1.50 US to Walmart and take another bus for $0.45. This system is good if you don't care about your time. When we go back again, I will have to stay in or around downtown or the marina. Anyway, enjoy Eloisa and you couldn't go wrong for the price:) HAPPY VACATIONING!!! |
