Love Hotel BelmarRated:![]() by DD Caldwell from USA Written 6 months ago | Excellent place to put your head down. We have stayed there on multiple occassions. Sometimes just my daughters and myself and sometimes with entire family and friends. The front desk is curteous and always remember us. Will help you with your spanish as well. Clean straight forward rooms, noise never a problem and the fact that there is no elevator just helps melt away all the chips and gaucamole we eat! Excellent value for the price. |
Ms.Rated:![]() by Donna Slone from USA Written 10 months ago | The Belmar is one of the best budget hotels in Vallarta. Great location, Very friendly staff, no elevator but it's never been a problem. I travel with my daughter and girl friends, we've never felt alarmed in any way. We've stayed several times and highly recommend The Belmar for someone that wants a clean hotel. ther's no room service, but always hot coffee in the lobby. |
Location, location, locationRated:![]() by Virginia Dykes (1 comment) ![]() from USA Written 1 year ago | Hotel Belmar is very quaint and very local. One thing not mentioned is that there is NO ELEVATOR and trying to get someone to bus our bags to the second floor was interesting. We are two older ladies who don't negotiate stairs very well so we had to first convince the concierge to change us to a lower floor than the 4th. We only stayed one night, a Friday and I did not find the noise too bad. There was no hot water the next day, though and if you leaned forward on the commode the door to the private part of the bathroom popped open! The beds were clean and not too hard, the folks were all friendly and I would probably stay again if I wanted just one night in the downtown area. Walking to Isla Cuale and through the flea market is always fun. We ate dinner at Le Bistro and watched the Rio Cuale flow by and then breakfast at Oscar's on the river again next morning. I wouldn't recommend this for a long stay unless all you wanted is a cheap place to sleep. |
NoisyRated:![]() by Mario Brule (1 comment) ![]() from Canada Written 3 years ago | You get what for what you paid. In fact the hotel is cute , clean and secure, but you have to know it is very noisy (from the street).
